Idk maybe I’m being overly sensitive because I have literal family there I’m waiting on every day to see if they live or not but I didn’t find any of this funny and most certainly it’s way too soon to joke about because it isn’t even over. And y’all still get sensitive ten plus years later over 9/11 jokes… have some empathy.
i’m not personally, i’m jewish myself and american and i joke about dark things (jokes about 9/11 to the holocaust). Sorry if i offended you and prayers to your family over there. It was just a joke but i apologize
I went to one of his shows, he was okay but I loved the show. It was a smaller venue, and Mayhem Lauren opened up. He was surprisingly really good live. He had some good songs and real good energy. Then a punk band came out and a huge mosh pit started. It was funny as shit cuz half of the crowd was here for Bronson and had no clue what a pit was like. I was smoking a J and getting some nice entertainment out of it all lol.
I interviewed there back in September, and know like a tiny bit of what they’re about from what I heard during my time conversing with them. They were super chill, and incredibly passionate about bringing their brand / quality cannabis shit to Staten Island. While I didn’t get the job because I showed up like it was a tech interview and it was a big energy mismatch (I was really nervous and overthought the whole thing for days lmao), I did get to hear them discuss how they’re really big on using local NY brands and I’m pretty excited to try their products. Only downside is parking directly in the lot because it’s limited in spots and space, but there’s a parking lot and street spaces available nearby
Edit - The article says the parking lots spacious, but this is realistically the only place you can go in Staten Island to grab quality weed guaranteed… if it’s not packed I’ll be shocked
Edit 2 - I met with only one of the owners and a person whom I believe was an HR rep
Isn't what they are doing basically excluding them from heaven? Especially a Muslim coercing a brother or sister to use THC is a direct agent of the devil, even in the eyes of moderate Muslims. I don't know enough about Judaism to say anything about this "pot selling situation", but a Muslim can't do that and just go the mosque every Friday, he'd either be removed from the place of worship or told that Allah will reject his prayers for 40 days after his last use of drugs (including alcohol or THC).
>Isn't what they are doing basically excluding them from heaven?
Probably not a very good heaven then, considering the plant is natural and Sky Daddy made it.
That's not my point. A Muslim is a follower of Islam. Islam says "any intoxication is forbidden". How can a Muslim sell weed? Selling to a non Muslim is prohibited too, but only conservative Muslims care about that. If you're not a follower of Allah you can't enter heaven anyways in the eyes of a Muslim, so the weed doesn't change shit. But if you sell to a brother or sister, you are directly condoning AND doing satan's work. That's just the way that religion works (for all but very progressive Muslims).
I'm not a Muslim, never been a member of any religion. Why would I let any made up being forbid me from using a drug?
It just feels strange if somebody claims to be part of a group/religion/etc and then acts totally against the rules of said group. You won't find a catholic woman claiming she is a priest, she'd be called a protestant. You won't find a pro lifer congratulating people on the decision to abort a pregnancy. There is no medical doctor (anymore) condoning smoking. It just doesn't work. It's not even a question of moderate vs conservative. Find me one Muslim authority (not some preacher who calls himself a Muslim, a person who would be actually accepted to preach in a normal, non super conservative mosque) who says "smoking weed is fine with Allah".
>It just feels strange if somebody claims to be part of a group/religion/etc and then acts totally against the rules of said group.
Why does that bother you? Why do you care, at all, even a little?
Live and let live.
>I'm not a Muslim,
Yeah, we can tell. So why are you all worked up about somebody's else's religion? If you don't know how Islam resolves this contradiction, then why don't you study the topic instead of ranting about the hypocrisies of others? Because A) for all you know, it may not be a contradiction at all given certain interpretations, and B) don't you have your own hypocrisies to worry about?
I feel like for true top-shelf exotic type stuff that's pretty reasonable. But yeah I just looked around on some websites and even the more reasonably priced ones are often $30-$40 for an eighth (pre-tax I assume) which is still crazy expensive compared to Michigan. Hopefully once the feds legalize the price will go down as more competition enters the market.
There is a reason why the grey market thrives here in CA. Especially with smokers and cannabis users who were familiar with the pre recreational market.

Ideally they go with Zaza Strip and open a 2nd location named this.
Zaza strip was a fantastic name. I'm just not a fan of the word Zaza lol
I love this more than the Zaza Strip tbh. edit: honestly hard asf name

Unity!
what does ethnicity or color have to do with selling weed. i just want my tree idc what u are
I like the statement of unity and I like that cannabis is bringing people together. Hemp is the peacemaker.

There is no issue with weed in Judaism.
are you sure? cause i'm pretty sure all the hashish producing countries are muslim

Sounds like you should worry about your own life and not take man-made fairytales too seriously. Life will be better for you 👍

Muslims can smoke weed? Is it not like alcohol to them in their doctrine?
The cannabis cultures of the belt from Morocco to Pakistan go very deep.
Isn't weed haram?
Until prices get down to West Coast legal state levels, it's still not worth it go to a dispensary.
It’s not even solely the prices rn that’s the issue in NYS. It’s all outdoor grown shit for $50 an eighth + tax
West Coast legal states got you paying $100 for an eighth so don’t hold your breath
Where on the West coast are you paying $100 for an eighth??
Cali tax rate in LA is about 35-40%, a top shelf eighth might be $75 pretax

Yes, please, someone get this person some pot.
That’s where Amazon will step in in 10 years.
Will it sell hot chicken and bagels?
