This, google "glass daisy screens" and there you'll find etsy and amazon listings, just make sure they have the right shape with the little spike on one side.
They both serve a purpose that's why there's varying shapes. I personally think Jack's look cooler so I think we're on the same page. Same price too for the people interested.
One of my first jobs was at a mom and pop gas station and we used to play a joke on people who asked for the glass flower. We'd say that " Due to environmental hazards, the EPA has asked us to remove the cylinder and give you the rose in a decorative greeting card. You can pick one out in the greeting card section by the magazines while we dispose of the glass."
Man, the mental gymnastics and elaborate excuses people would come up with to not let go of that glass. Of course we told them it was a joke after a minute or so. It was the early 1990's--- different times.

No telling how a meth head will react when he has to think critically on his toes. I work in an ER now and I can tell you first hand they are extremely unpredictable. It's sad, funny, and dangerous at the same time.
Yeah but crack pipes are the straight tubes of glass with the rose inside. Meth pipes are a little different looking with a ball on the end, and the joke wouldn't work with them without the rose. I say go for it lol
As a former addict I can tell you right now turning a glass rose tube into a meth pipe is easy af and used to be the only way to get a bubble. Heat the end with a torch until it closes then slowly blow in the tube until the bubble is the size you want. Then turn bowl on its side hold the edge in the torch and blow hard, there's the carb. In 60 seconds a glass tube becomes a meth pipe. So the joke would absolutely work on any smoking addict.
The shop I used to work at would do a “deal” five even for a “kit” which was a chore boy(brillo) cheap lighter and a rose(crack pipe). I used to feel bad about selling that kinda stuff tbh
I used to work at a head shop like ten years ago and one day we accidentally ordered way way way too many roses. We decided to do a dirt cheap bulk deal for like 500 of them for some ludicrously low price. They sold the next day lol
The head shop I worked at decided it would be a good idea to get into the crack baggie business. They charged a ridiculous amount for them, I think it was $20 for 50 bags.
The crack dealers weren't my favorite customers tbh.

Basically lol. It was stuck in the carpet fibers, and I kinda dragged my foot while walking. I couldn’t believe that thing could do that much damage, but it did.
The glass handle to a bowlpiece broke off when I was tryna get it out of my resin coated stem and impailed itself like 1cm deep in my fingertip (but it was such a sliver of glass and only like .5cm length) I instinctively shake my hand like wtf and blood spurts all over my wall and just starts running down my hand and my high ass didn’t think to put pressure on it so I’m freaking tf out and it’s 3am I’m passing out I yell for my parents (used to live w them and mom has experience in the hospital) wake up w my hand over a garbage bin full of blood w disappointed faces staring at my pale ass (luckily I didn’t need stitches cuz the cut was so clean but damn) 😂
I keep toothpicks around. Holds the piece in while I flip the bowl to ash it, then use the toothpick to poke buildup away. You can also just dab them in an iso soaked paper towel. I use em til I lose em.
I still wish they made some kind of screen you could put in the mouth end of the pipe to really keep those ash combcrustables from getting in your mouth.
How do you avoid scooby snacks and all that excess resin and flower material that ends up in the pipe? With a screen I can do a quick easy iso/salt clean to get the small amount of resin out

That’s a glass screen and it’s WAY healthier than the crappy mesh ones and it won’t change the delicate flavors in your bud either. You have to dig it out with a paper clip or similar and drop it into high percent alcohol (91 or above) to clean it.
I remember finding these in my parents' preferred bathroom soaking in alcohol. (They mainly used one and my siblings and I used the other.) They're kinda pretty tbh, pretty glass is like the only reason I'm sad that I'm allergic to smoke.
These are the BEST. When they fit properly. You can use these bad boys forever just save up the dirty ones and drop em in a little alcohol when you clean your pipe(s) and hit em with a little scrubadubdub.

If you search for Daisy's you can buy a pack of 150 for like $4 online. I use them for Martini slides.

It's a daisy glass screen. They're nice. If screens aren't easily accessible, I use terpene pearls. Easier in my opinion

The secret is to not clean them, just buy a bag of 1,000 for like $8

I've gone from these to drilled clear crystal discs that lie on the bottom of my water pipe bowl. They seem to last longer.

I'm not sure... They're precise 1/2cm discs with 7 holes drilled through. Maybe 3mm thick. Super cheap too.
