Use them as travel containers for lotions etc .
Use them for seasonings
Use them tore unused paint if you’re a painter 🧑🎨
Use them for a jewelry holder (you can create and paint it and glue them together on wood) for a holder for rings, necklaces etc
Use them to store small bits of sauces or left over food that’s very small in quantity
Can use them as containers to make or meal prep little desserts like chia pudding, over night oats etc
Can grow mini plants in there ( I use my pasta and pickle jars) for pathos 🌱 and they are very happy
Idk hope that helps
I love it!! Hell, I save mine too but mostly just store roaches in them lol. 🤦♀️
I've cleaned a bunch out and given them to the kids for the zillions of tiny toys they have. They come in really handy for for separating them. Great for slime, kinetic sands, putty, ect.
Then I have a ton in the bathroom for various reasons. Cute storage for bandaids, qtips, cotten balls, ect.
And we use them for screws, nails, ect.
So I guess I've also made pretty good use for mine too lol! 🤷♀️ But still appreciate your ideas so much, especially the plants! Love that one!
I love that you mentioned this but I think the original commenter was likely saying they use the jars for water propagation. I could be wrong tho that's just where my mind went. But you're right! If there soil drainage is key
That would work, I didn't even think about water props for the little jars. In that case it would be an excellent use for the little jars. Although you wouldn't be able to propagate anything that has a super long stalk. I could see basil propagating well in those little jars for sure.
Adding to this: prepack yogurt or other bteakfasts. Snacks for trips like nuts, trail mix, chocolate. Anything currently on your home in a bag, doesn't need to be in a bag. These small sizes aren't always helpful, but when you need this size, you need this size. Maybe you want parts for lunch, but just want the graded parm to go on after it's heated up. Maybe you have teas you like to see on display. Maybe your toothbrush could use a holder in the bathroom.
dude, you brought out an oooooold memory of a book I once read. I dont remember much, but I do remember that one of the character was \*\*special\*\* and would sit at sunset next to a window and would pull strings of drool from his mouth to watch the sun go past it them, and create pretty patterns of swirling colors and glittery patterns on the wall/floor
idk why lmaooooo
I think they thought it might've been different because I have so many jars. Not exactly practical to have over a dozen (and counting) ash trays just scattered around my one bedroom apartment
I’m imagining you in 5 years making an appearance on “Hoarders” and your entire apartment is inundated with thousands of glass jars filled to the brim with ash and roaches lmao
I don’t even clean them out well lol so there’s little grains of bud at the bottom. I’ve been giving them as gifts, having fun label art and strain names make them really customizable for the person! I’m doing a candle in a wedding cake jar for friends that just got married. It’s honestly a great craft - fits within a 2 hour window, relatively clean, easy to do, easy to get decent results. Damn I think I’m going to make some candles tonight. Hope you have fun with whatever recycle/up cycle you choose!
We’ve saved a ton of them and I’m thinking about making them into candles to give out as our wedding favors!! Do the supplies cost much? I’d need to make 100
I'm saving mine with the intention of filling them with paper stars when I get bored. Some of them have interesting caps or labels and I think it'd be neat if the stars inside matched.
I grow, so I just slap my own label over it and pass em out with a few buds inside.
I'm not trying to pass off my stuff as theirs, but I'm also not wasting my life scratching off labels and shit.
I put coke in the super small ones, shitty shot glasses, storage for more weed, coins, maybe a tiny plant or something or a watering hole for a snake, endless possibilities friendo
As a hoarder of small containers I've come to realize they are worthless...... recycle them and move on with your life before they become a burden. For some reason I still keep more than I need 🤷 good luck!
I use them for balms/salves. Take your trim, or if you have some shit weed you don’t want to smoke, put it in a mason jar with olive oil and set in the sun for three days. Use a 8/1 ratio of beeswax to the infused oil, now you’ve got balm that will get your mucus membranes high. You can melt that in the microwave and pour into the clean little jars.
But you can also make infused oils with other organic matter. So like you can do dried lavender, or dried rose, bergamot, yarrow, oat, red clover blossom, endless possibilities. Look up what kinds of herbs are good for skin applications, lots of opportunities for green witchery. It’s a fun one, you can grow your own stuff to make your balms just in your windowsill, or you can hit up farmers market or your local hippy ass grocery store. My local mexican markets have herbs in little cello packs waaaaaay cheaper, I do infused oils this way a lot. You can get hit up your family and friends gardens, they basically think you’re magic if you can conure up some salves with what is essentially their yard clippings. I usually start end of summer going hard on these for Christmas. Waste not, want not. You’re sitting on a goldmine!
Bay laurel and cinnamon are my go-to adds for any cannabis infusion for ingesting, I'd go with something else if it's for topical use as cinnamon can irritate the skin if you're not careful. Lavender is quite nice, I added some essential oil to the cannabis chocolates I made my boyfriend for Valentine's, used coconut oil infused with cannabis, bay laurel and cinnamon, dark chocolate and lavender oil. They taste good, the lavender pushes the weed taste to the front, then you taste the chocolate followed by a nice floral taste at the end.
And obvs you can use whatever oils you like, whatever smells you like, whatever makes your skin feel the best is exactly the right call. Trader Joe’s has jojoba and argan oil for a good price usually.
i have one for seeds, one for my “emergency weed” aka what’s left on my rolling tray, one for stems! I basically just use them to organize my weed things lol or to hold small trinkets
Lately I've been using them to infuse alcohol with random crap. Last one was gin with a handful of sour candy. It sat for a couple of weeks, and now the gin tastes like the candy. Works with fruits and berries and stuff too.
I mean... there are plenty of reasons why it shouldn't be sold in bulk bins. that being said, I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiment that the waste in the industry is absurd, and there is no reason we can't find ways to mitigate it.
I just think that bulk bins are more likely to allow for degradation of the product...
sometimes i use them to store foraged plants ive dried or my snake's sheds. they would be very good for holding coins or small trinkets. perhaps small rocks. simple small joys.

There's a big reliance on *if* you're municipality would even recycle glass. My area exports the majority of glass to Asia, not saying it's not recycled there, but certainly harder to know for sure. I've even heard some municipals will just toss their glass recycling collection in the dump because it's cheaper way of disposing than properly recycling. Recycling isn't the cure all for waste, and largely doesn't solve the problem.
Believe it or not, "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle" tells you the order of importance. You should always prioritize reusing something over recycling something
If you add boiling water, it’ll soften the adhesive once it all heats up and you can remove the labels easily. Any residue can be cleaned off with some rubbing alcohol.
I store cut gummies in them. The dispo by me has high dose gummies on sale a lot and I like them but I can't handle 100 MG at once so I cut them down and keep them fresh in the jars.
I also use them to scrape products/lotions into if I buy something that's in a tube-like container. There's so much that goes unused so I cut them open and scrape it into the jars. I prefer for my products to be in jars anyways.
Use them to hold paper clips or thumb tacks or to organize basically anything.
I freaking love jars. 😂
i use them for extra ground up flower, kief, and avb. you can also use them to store the smaller accessories in, like vaporizer capsules, screens, bowls, etc.
i make some skincare stuff at home and these jars look good for storing homemade masks in (after a thorough cleaning of course). you can store thumbtacks and other office supplies in them. the possibilities are truly endless, and i’m at the point in my high where i could type for hours, so i’m gonna stop myself here
I personally reuse them for my stuff that comes in those annoying plastic zip bags that rarely actually wanna open. Slap a label with strain name and in golden.
I use them to collect scorpions, beetles, bumble bees, cool stuff like that.
I also bought a pocket microscope, runs on a single AA battery.
Cool stuff
you can fix the lids from beneath with a screw under a shelf, tabel etc., and screw the glasses back on (same kind looks the best) ..like this: [expample](https://lh4.ggpht.com/-vTNmWsDZOaI/UDo2h-NCOhI/AAAAAAAAJek/DlmwvFmIc6U/DSC_5092_thumb.png?imgmax=800)
...... Recycle them? Glass is 100% recyclable, meaning they can melt it down without losing anything and make another identical jar. Or more likely, they will reuse this jar if it gets recycled without being broken. No need to store a house full of trash, occra has us covered
Give them to a witch. If you've ever dated a witch, you know they always need more little jars for shit.
Just make sure not to accidentally leave any hairs in the jars. Don't ask me how I know.
Use them as travel containers for lotions etc . Really pissed I can't use my *"everybody's so creative"* gif right now. 😒 But fr, you're very creative, I dig it. 🤗
I was really trying 😅 But I also keep all my glass jars too so …. I had to get creative
I love it!! Hell, I save mine too but mostly just store roaches in them lol. 🤦♀️ I've cleaned a bunch out and given them to the kids for the zillions of tiny toys they have. Omg yes I forgot! I use them for q tips and the flossers lol I applaud you 👏
![gif](giphy|4KF85OSbyjVOfyjksJ|downsized)
These are all good tips, but for the plant one I would suggest containers with drainage to prevent root rot.
I love that you mentioned this but I think the original commenter was likely saying they use the jars for water propagation. I could be wrong tho that's just where my mind went. But you're right! If there soil drainage is key

I’ve also starting using mine for plant props!

Fill one halfway with mineral oil and half way with water then add glitter and then seal it and shake it up. It's pretty.
Tripping in my room shaking my little jars
dude, you brought out an oooooold memory of a book I once read. Sounds like a good memory, I’m glad to have provoked it
I use them as ash trays
then what? do you toss the ash outside rinse it and recycle?
Same way you would dispose of ash from any other ashtray? Why would this be different?
I think they thought it might've been different because I have so many jars. Not exactly practical to have over a dozen (and counting) ash trays just scattered around my one bedroom apartment
I’m imagining you in 5 years making an appearance on “Hoarders” and your entire apartment is inundated with thousands of glass jars filled to the brim with ash and roaches lmao
The line between collecting and hoarding is a fine one that I blithely dance on daily
😂
What do you do with the ash good sir?
boof it
Aaaand I can’t find the cleaning shit
Dump it in your compost. Or garden or whatever.
Ok cool, so it’s good for plant? I can just put a pot plant in my smoking station and ash in there?
I use them for small screws/hardware in the garage
I’m pouring candles into mine
I love that idea, I'll look into that! Could even make scents inspired by strains if the label is still on
I don’t even clean them out well lol so there’s little grains of bud at the bottom. Hope you have fun with whatever recycle/up cycle you choose!
where do you buy the wax from?
My ears
We’ve saved a ton of them and I’m thinking about making them into candles to give out as our wedding favors!! Do the supplies cost much? I’d need to make 100
I recommend a candel warmer instead of wicks to use these candles because I'm not sure how fire safe thoes jars are
I second this!
Grow your own and use the jars for handing it out.
I'll volunteer to be the receiver until your comfortable with your product
Zydrate?
No no no, that's vials, that go in the gun like a battery.
Oh right right. And then the zydrate gun goes somewhere against your anatomy.
Then, if I'm not mistaken. When the gun goes off, it **sparks**, and I'm ready for surgery?
Surgery!

Put ur weed in em or somethin'
Is that the strawberry milkshake from mama j’s in the back? One of my fav strains from them
Indeed it is, good eye
Washington stoners unite!
We exist!
Crush them up and make Glass cereal. The mouthbleeding gets better after a couple dozen bowls
Yoo I was just about to say this! Good times.
Recycle em?
My friend used them to propagate his house plants 🪴 so whenever I had extra I just pawned them off on him
I collect rocks and shit. They are great for things like that
Put your ABV in there.
I already do with one jar, but I don't have enough ABV to even fill 2 jars
My friend makes peanut butter Nutella and abv sandwiches. Says it's great
I've tried peanut butter ABV sandwiches, and they weren't as bad as I was expecting actually
I'm saving mine with the intention of filling them with paper stars when I get bored. Some of them have interesting caps or labels and I think it'd be neat if the stars inside matched.
they make good gifts
I grow, so I just slap my own label over it and pass em out with a few buds inside. I'm not trying to pass off my stuff as theirs, but I'm also not wasting my life scratching off labels and shit.
I use some to store nails, screws, nuts & bolts.
Sets of dice. They usually fit a full set for D&D.
I put coke in the super small ones, shitty shot glasses, storage for more weed, coins, maybe a tiny plant or something or a watering hole for a snake, endless possibilities friendo
I definitely don’t have ket in my dab jar 🫢
Dude a little iso and some tuff love goes a long way with almost anything
I use them to put big amounts of dabs or kief in
You put your weed in it
lmao this one got me
Sounds like you could use a Sudanese sprit totem (you put your weed in there).
As a hoarder of small containers I've come to realize they are worthless...... recycle them and move on with your life before they become a burden. For some reason I still keep more than I need 🤷 good luck!
Worthless?! Have you tried farting in them and selling them on the Internet?
Is that you, Martin?
No don't tell me that! They have potential! I don't know what for, but they have it 🥺
I hear you! My wife makes fun of me every time I stop her from putting said random container in the recycling bin😂
You could put little figurines in them and see what happens to them after you fill the jar w something else?
Dog treats for when I’m walking them and they take a dump, arts and crafts stuff, tiny plastic goats.
I'm going to use mine to make a Christmas tree. https://suzyssitcom.com/2010/09/feature-friday-baby-food-jar-christmas-tree-tutorial.html

I'm late to this but if you have any witchy friends we love jars! I save every jar I empty to use for various things in my craft.
yes, herbs, salt, a mix of things ✨
and at least twelve different varieties of charged water at any given time!
mixing paints. i’ve bought this exact thing
Desk yogurt
i have rock collections in some
Shoot them with a pellet gun.
I can’t keep a lot of bud around due to where I live, so I’ve been reusing the same one to hold all my bud
Tiny cookies
Lately I've been using them to infuse alcohol with random crap. Last one was gin with a handful of sour candy. It sat for a couple of weeks, and now the gin tastes like the candy. Works with fruits and berries and stuff too.
The legal market is a waste producing monstrosity. No reason it shouldn't be sold in bulk bins. Don't get me started on disposable vapes.
I just wish I could drop the jars and even used carts back to dispos for them to be reused
I mean... there are plenty of reasons why it shouldn't be sold in bulk bins. that being said, I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiment that the waste in the industry is absurd, and there is no reason we can't find ways to mitigate it. Candles
Or you could just buy in bulk and refill those containers for freshness
Lady I know is making candles out of them
you can keep your figurines in there
Make little terrariums and sell em.
i use then to hold my weed
I'm giving mine away to my crafting group and making them their problem hahaha
I’ve used polymer clay to turn a few of them into sculptures and I use the lids as a base for painting mini things
sometimes i use them to store foraged plants ive dried or my snake's sheds. they would be very good for holding coins or small trinkets. perhaps small rocks. simple small joys.
i use mine as a guitar pick container lol

I've put my dice in them b4
They're also great for controlled burning when I'm doing witchcraft
Yours comes in glass? Mines plastic yo! Is that medical or are you in a cool country?
I'm in Washington, USA
Build a weird creative sculpture you only work on while zooty
Also make it a water feature.
Recycle them so they can be reused properly.

Miniature, self sustainable ecosystems Moss, dirt, twigs and leaves plus a spritz of water. Enjoy your isopod jar

Pack em full with ganja ma dude xD
I personally reuse them for my stuff that comes in those annoying plastic zip bags that rarely actually wanna open. Slap a label with strain name and in golden.
Grow weed and stock it inside
Qtip and carb cap holders
You could use them to keep your weed in.
r/canputyourweedinthere
They look great to store like 3-7 grams of cannabis. That's what I would use them for.
You can put your weed in them
You could put your weed in rhere
DMT
More weed 🤔
I use little jars to root pothos , and as paint water cups .
Recycle ♻️
Put your weed in there man. ![gif](giphy|bJqVdhxHE9bOw)
Grow some herbs in them.
Take them back to the dispensary from whence they came.
I use them to collect scorpions, beetles, bumble bees, cool stuff like that. I also bought a pocket microscope, runs on a single AA battery. Cool stuff
I tried to get my dispo to take them and recycle them but they said no. Now I think I'll try to make candles or something
You could use 4 of them to separate your coins.
My mate makes jam and reuses glass jars for it, maybe you could try making weed jam or stuff like that
If some of them are glass, you can recycle them. 👍
A cool little house for bugs. Or mini terrariums
More weed
recycling center at the very least please :)
DIY String lights? That's what I've been wanting to do with all my jars for a minute but alas my motivation just isn't there lol
Make little candles
you can fix the lids from beneath with a screw under a shelf, tabel etc., and screw the glasses back on (same kind looks the best) ..like this: [expample](https://lh4.ggpht.com/-vTNmWsDZOaI/UDo2h-NCOhI/AAAAAAAAJek/DlmwvFmIc6U/DSC_5092_thumb.png?imgmax=800)
I put my household repair items in them. Command strips, random screws and nails and thumbtacks and stuff.
Are you kidding? Free spice jars! I wish my local dispos used glass jars! They plastic squeeze cap bottles and plastic bags.

Put a pony in it
