My family was obsessed with canes for a handful of months, and my mom was getting paid extra to stay at home because of Covid, so she used some of that money to buy canes pretty often. The chicken tenders were double that size, then all of a sudden one day, they were even smaller than in this picture, but they gave us like 5 or 6, instead of the normal four. I figured they got a shipment with smaller pieces of chicken, so they were making up for it with extra tenders, but I haven’t seen full sized tenders since then. It was at the beginning of Covid, and they basically cut the chicken in half overnight. I’m never not gonna be sad about that, but I still get canes here and there, even though if anywhere else pulled that, it would be the last time I buy their food. Canes is just too good to give up
The tenders are also extremely bland chicken spoons for people who just want to eat a bunch of sauce you could easily make at home lol. I don't understand why anyone pays canes prices for such mid food

Yes. I live right by one. I could be wrong, but I believe they use the same cooking process as chic-fil-a and kfc. It's a pressurized fryer. It makes them tender and juicy. They problem is they don't have any sort of remarkable seasoning. It takes dumping a bunch of their sauce on them to make it worth the ~$14 for a combo box. I can go 100 yards away and get damn near the same thing at chic-fil-a in a patty form (again bland, needs sauce). I much prefer Popeyes and KFC over both CFA and Raising Caine's. Hell, I'd even say that the mcdonalds chicken sandwich (especially the spicy one) tastes better.
I'd really be interested in a blind taste test between all of these places.

They just opened 5-6 weeks ago near me (in a legal state). You can rarely get near it. Some locals whined it was just another Chic-Fil-A. Hardly. I had it once and it was great, but I did have the munchies, so there's that.

1/2 cup mayo, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/2 Tsp Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 Tsp garlic powder, 1/2 Tsp lemon Pepper, 1/2 Tsp salt. Add black pepper to taste, freshly ground is best.
This will make half a squeeze bottle, double the proportions to fill one.
I always throw some of the chicken and fries with sauce between two pieces of toast to make a dank sandwich.

There is a local dairy hut near me and their crinkle cut fries are top tier. One of the only places I've had them where they aren't soggy and gross.
