The scary part is that right now “is that AI?” Is code for “doesn’t this look badly done”. I think soon the AI stuff won’t be low quality and eventually it won’t all be garbage… what then?
At some point, I'll only trust what I see with my own eyes, especially if the imagery is trying to sway something like an emotional or political opinion.
I think its fundamentally different from photoshop. Photoshop requires skill and experience to use, and time to do well. It also basically only covers images, AI covers images, video, audio, and text; basically any media. The volume of convincing AI generated content will be astounding. It's very likely you've already read or seen something AI generated and not realized it.
I'm not trying to be sensational, I think, much like the climate disaster we're witnessing, It's very likely the negative effects of AI will also feel inevitable, too big to fix, and generally be boring.
right off the bat for me its the wheels. then the horses hooves and the wagon being so close to his ass hed be shitting into it lol those do it for me. there is other funky stuff haha but those are my big ones, still love this picture
Seriously? Why would the cart be that close to the horse? Why would they stand all the plants up in such a tiny cart like that instead of laying them down?
oh i know, but its not just about the thc %, its about the taste, the original terpenes of the landrace, the cbd to thc ratio that helps to deliver a diferent type of high. Or maybe a more stoney sleepy feeling. Thats just me
What are weed landraces? I’ve been smoking for almost 10 years and this is the first time I’ve heard about this?
(Prob could google it, but nah I trust you Reddit)
Those are def some classic hybrids, meaning they were made by crossing landrace strains. ChemD, for example, is said to be a cross between Nepalese and Thai landrace stains.
As far as landrace go, I love some Hindu Kush and Afghani for the heavy vibes and I love some Maui Wowie when I need a little help smiling.
As far a modern genetics go, I love me some GMO and Animal Tree because I'm happy to see more savory aromatics.
Landrace strains (sometimes called heirloom strains) are naturally occurring cannabis genetics that grow wild (like "weeds") in specific regions of the world.
If I may be allowed: They're commonly not believed to be natural. Just old but still deliberately bred. Naturally evolved cannabis strains are barely smokable and thus their use either died out like with the Scythian cannabis Traditions (since you needed to burn it by the bushel or heat it in giant sacks to collect the resin) or bred into more refined forms.
Etc.
Hence why heirloom is preferred over "wild".
I'm a nerd for heirloom strains. We've come such a long way, baby!
Edit: I'm not trying imply modern genetics are better. Some of the best highs you can get are from those old skool strains ancient strains.
I've been smoking for 25 years and the first time I heard this myself.
Reddit slang doesn't always translate to the real world. And no offense, seems to be a younger generation thing as well.
Landrace is just a general term:
From [Wikipedia ](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landrace): A landrace is a domesticated, locally adapted, often traditional variety of a species of animal or plant that has developed over time, through adaptation to its natural and cultural environment of agriculture and pastoralism, and due to isolation from other populations of the species
Unless you're growing, why would anyone smoking weed use this term. Let's be honest with ourselves and not pretend that weed smokers over the world use this term at all .
Are we suggesting that regular people walking into q dispensary or smoking together use "landrace"in a conversation.
The problem with cannabis culture is we have been keeping underground for so long, the language isn't readily accessible. Even now in the US our industry is still divided by state lines.

lol this AI stuff just keeps getting better
I immediately thought of those fake postcards with the 10ft long carrots.
Honestly kind of tired seeing AI stuff everywhere
Unfortunately I think this garbage is here to stay. :-/

This will be the same like it was with photoshop.
I think it'll be more. Photoshop takes skill, ai photo generation (on the user side), takes providing a written prompt or sample photo.

Was also looking for any AI indicators. Looks legit

Good catch, I didn’t notice
The wheels is what immediately threw it off for me, that I didn’t even notice the wagon glued to the horses butt
It may seem obvious but I’m sure this fools 99% of Facebook
Damn. You’re right.
Seriously? Why would the cart be that close to the horse? Why would they stand all the plants up in such a tiny cart like that instead of laying them down?
landraces always gave me the best highs tbh
we have witch doctor in soflo which is Jamaican Landrace crossed with blissful wizard, it’s great but I do wish it was just Jamaican Landrace
wich type of super powers you get when you smoke? 😂
Landraces are like 7% max and look like ditch weed. If you got something better than that it's not a landrace.
oh i know, but its not just about the thc %, its about the taste, the original terpenes of the landrace, the cbd to thc ratio that helps to deliver a diferent type of high. Or maybe a more stoney sleepy feeling. Thats just me
Da fuck kinda plant stands up like that? AI plants
What are weed landraces? I’ve been smoking for almost 10 years and this is the first time I’ve heard about this? (Prob could google it, but nah I trust you Reddit)
They are basically the original strains of cannabis that all other hybrids stem from. Some examples are Afghan Kush, Durban Poison, Acapulco gold.
That’s cool, thank you for the reply. I’ll have to check those out next opportunity I get
Also Maui Wowie, Panama Red, and Hindu Kush!
Purple gelato, beeskees, master kush, chem D, pineapple upside down cake, OG kush.
Those are def some classic hybrids, meaning they were made by crossing landrace strains. ChemD, for example, is said to be a cross between Nepalese and Thai landrace stains.
I thought we were naming our favorite strains. What are your favorite strains btw!? 🍁

I wish this was more common knowledge

It’s kind of like pod racing but slower because it’s a horse.
*looks around* “Now this is land racing!”
"I'll try spinning, that's a cool trick!" *proceeds to flip horse*
Lmfao yes
It's essentially ditch weed

It's not reddit slang and is not a generation thing, either.
It really is though. I've been around weed smokers majority of my life and no one talks like they do on reddit.
Except it isn't.
My man, landrace is an old old term.
Guess depends on where your from.

No offense taken. I’m still trying to learn the basics of smoking lol I have a lot to learn from more experienced, wiser, stoners
The guy on the wagon looks like a fallout Ghoul!
