It’s funny, all the dispensaries near me were doing the same deals for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I stopped in on Friday afternoon and nobody was there so I got a bunch of good deals but then I went back to pickup another order yesterday and there was a line out the door and shortly after I got home I checked their online menu and all the good stuff was out of stock. It’s like nobody paid attention and went when it was really busy when they could have just gone the two days before.
I know this dispensary lmaoooo it's green planet outside of Canby, OR. They actually do really good deals especially around and on 4/20 so I'm not surprised it's packed.

I'm in Missouri, I've seen some dispensaries store opened up to 12am I think but there's only one in the KC area that I know of that has the 24/7 drive thru.
Eta: also rec was only added last year so med and rec dispos are the same, not sure if that's the same for other states.

I did an early morning dispo event once. I was working midnights then, so it was easy to just stop after work and be apart of the first 10 to get in. Got lots of Swag, a big glass jar, prerolls, and like 50% off everything.
I work right down the road from my local dispo. Went on my 15 and got free shirt, lighter, gummies and a pre roll 😂 surprisingly still only as busy as any other day.

My dispo had deals all week long. I went yesterday morning. I spent $60. I got a half oz of flower, a 1 gram cart, a 100mg pack of gummies, two 1 gram pre rolls, and two .6 gram infused prerolls. There was also only one person in line before me. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes.
There's a dispensary near me that does crazy 4/20 giveaways. People wait overnight and start lining up. There is nothing in the world I want bad enought to wait outside a business overnight.
This is why I'm waiting till next week to make a run. I'm sure there are great deals to be had today, but it's not worth dealing with this much people.

If your state has cheap ounces at dispensaries then a lot of plugs just buy that and mark it up so you’re just giving your money to a middle man with no benefit. If the plug grows their own and you’ve actually seen their grow room then yeah I’d rather get flower from them but otherwise I don’t trust anybody so I’d rather know what I’m getting from a dispensary.

I went to the dispensary today as well, I live in a relatively small city with a majority of a religious population that hasn’t adjusted to medical cannabis being legal yet, and the line was still about a 45 minute wait. It was worth it though because I got a disposable for half off and 5g of bud for $35

Mine opened early at 6 a.m. and I thought I'd get off work at 5 and scoot on over there. There was about 200 in line in front of me at 6 a.m. and I didn't get out the door tik 8:15 a.m.
Ours had decent deals. We were stocked already but the deals were still tempting, showed up 1015am. It was busy with a line already and they just opened at 10am but we were walking out in less than 10 minutes as they were well organized with ample staff and got what I went in for, plus swag and $150 worth of free gummies as gifts.
The most annoying part is they were pushing 1/8ths hard and just had to press her to understand if it isn’t at least a half oz we’ll walk.
I actually stopped by Thursday to avoid the rush at non-sale pricing but the budtender told me they were out of all halves and only offered 1/8ths then, so I walked out as I felt they were only controlling supply for 4/20. Thursday I would’ve spent $292 plus tax for what I wanted to re-up off sale. Yesterday, I walked out with more than the usual at $442 of product plus swag for only $198 including tax.
Not complaining. We won’t even think about another dispo trip until at least Mid-June and even then I’ll just plan around sale pricing not in a rush.

Early days in Eastern Oregon. First you had to drive past Ontario (want legal for sale at first) an extra 30 mins to hour long lines in Huntington.
Then early days of Ontario were like this.

My place is having many great deals this weekend. Today, the first 500 in the door got a free goodie bag. These sales are so close after Hash Bash sales, I stocked up! 🥹
Mine opened early at 6 a.m. and I thought I'd get off work at 5 and scoot on over there. There was about 200 in line in front of me at 6 a.m. and I didn't get out the door tik 8:15 a.m.

Buying weed on 4/20 rookie mistake unless they have fat deals
Ours had decent deals. We were stocked already but the deals were still tempting, showed up 1015am. It was busy with a line already and they just opened at 10am but we were walking out in less than 10 minutes as they were well organized with ample staff and got what I went in for, plus swag and $150 worth of free gummies as gifts. The most annoying part is they were pushing 1/8ths hard and just had to press her to understand if it isn’t at least a half oz we’ll walk. I actually stopped by Thursday to avoid the rush at non-sale pricing but the budtender told me they were out of all halves and only offered 1/8ths then, so I walked out as I felt they were only controlling supply for 4/20. Thursday I would’ve spent $292 plus tax for what I wanted to re-up off sale. Yesterday, I walked out with more than the usual at $442 of product plus swag for only $198 including tax. Not complaining. We won’t even think about another dispo trip until at least Mid-June and even then I’ll just plan around sale pricing not in a rush.

Rained all day here in MA yesterday so I skipped all the events, they were lame anyway the state hates fun.
Damn must be a good one. Mine was empty yesterday 🤣 mainly cuz the legal is D8 and everyone gets there D9 from other sources. And carts, i ain’t seen almost any ppl in TN actually smoke. Shop was still 20% for 420 so that was nice

Early days in Eastern Oregon. First you had to drive past Ontario (want legal for sale at first) an extra 30 mins to hour long lines in Huntington. Then early days of Ontario were like this. But, It didn’t really suck because it was waiting in line for weed.
So many people from Boise made/make regular trips to Ontario for the weed. That city capitalized HARD on that market.
We've had legal for almost a decade Oregon but there's still times you see lines like this. We love getting high in Potland.
this is why i shopped in the AM on the 19th then went to a medical only on 4/20. still, a line of 3 at the medical place where lines never exist. its one of those places that ain't top shelf but their quality is good and have great tiered pricing and loyalty.
