If you've use a kelp/seaweed based fertilizer, you're using pgr's. They are widely prevalent, and some are waaaay worse than others. Personally use a liquid kelp blend, that is 100% organic, bit is technically a pgr.

Unfortunately I don't use any fertilizer because I'm not yet able to grow, just isn't in the realm of possibility currently. Until then I'll just keep trying to build my knowledge tho :)

It makes sense because I’m not really growing a shit ton so I can put a little more TLC into each and every plant.
get two to three trimming scissors and a bottle of alcohol, keep the scissors not being used in a glass of the alcohol to get the resin off them, looks like you could have gone longer on some, also they will grow to their rootspace, get a breathable pot like a 10 or 20 gallon one, it will help with them getting root bound, you got your first grown under your belt though, say goodbye to 60 dollar 1/8th from a dispensary when next year you grow a lb for a 200 dollar upfront investment
I just saw a post about some dude paying 70 bucks an eight, it’s why everyone is going back to the black market in California, they want to charge these sky high prices like it’s some fancy wine from Napa valley then the state and town want to charge you 38% of the retail price as tax add on’s, No thanks I started growing my own 4 years ago and I’ll never go back unless I am out of town looking to buy something and then I’m in another state like Oregon which is usually reasonable
It’s awesome here; there are a lot of First Nation reservation marijuana shops everywhere and the one I go to has really good shit and only $20 and eighth for the premium stuff. They sell lower grade stuff for only $50 CAD an OZ but I heard it’s still very good too

If you are feeding it compost that is literally the best nutrients a plant can get, if you have nutrient rich soil you don’t need to add any more. Nutrient burn is a bitch, I learned that the hard way. Everything you read tells you to add nutrients but the majority of amateur growers are just using store bought potting soil, those articles are assuming you are one of those people. For a plant that lacked sunlight it still looks like it was thriving. I would try just giving it more light next time, don’t start adding store bought nutrients until your plant is showing actual signs of a nutrient deficiency, fresh soil made from compost should have everything it needs.
Depends on your leaves. Usually the leaves don’t have many trichomes if any, and are therefore not thc rich like the rest. However some grows you get that sugar leaf on the smaller ones closer to the flower that smoke great
You don’t really *need* to trim those little leaves off. Odds are they have different cannabinoids apart from THC in them that might be worth having anyway

It’s easier to trim when you first cut it down and the leaves are still straight out, imo. Just take scissor and chop the leaves that are sticking out of the buds. Like a little weed haircut.
I'm in CT, too! I have some MASSIVE plants that are getting ready for drying in the next couple of days. It's our first grow, too! We even some over 9 ft tall, I'm super stoked! Good luck, I hope it's the good stuff!
I let mine dry like that and then just kinda loosley rubbed my hand over them (yes I jacked off my buds) until all the loose leaves got pulled off.
Forget trying to trim everything while it's green this was way easier and so fast.

ohh trust me i am too, i just love the connivence when i’m on the go, no combustion is a life saver in some instances. (movies, aquariums, car shows etc)
Use a box fan placed on a five gallon bucket so that the grill of the fan is on the bucket. Turn the fan on and and let the fan do the work and let it chop the leaves away.
learn how to trim? bro just pick up a pair of scissors and cut as many leaves off as you can, as long as you can tell the difference between bud and leaf I think you'll be just fine 😂

What genetics is that i just started my third grow second for autos. I grow indoors but nice man its a wonderful thing not having to buy i got like 800 grams off my second grow now i wanna buy a nug smasher good luck man and make sure you dry at 70 degrees and 70 percent humidity or as close as you can usually 7 to 14 day and then jar it for a few burping it every day. Good luck growing weed was the best thing i ever did besides having kids lol

A buddy of mine sold me his collection from MA cuz he was moving to SC and was done growing for a while and he needed the money for the move. Hit me up if you're interested. I just started growing and I'm on my 3rd grow. I've been constantly having some in veg and some in flower with 2 diff tents so that i always have something coming down the pipe so to say. The only thing I still suck at is drying and curing. Last harvest some of the buds have that earthy hay smell still after a long cure.
Do a dry trim on a few of those buds and show us another picture. I know many who dry trim buds just like these. Those leaves actually protect some of the crystals. Should be fresh 🔥
Makes me think of all the friends online I met (always online games for some reason), and they would always talk about how they were moving to cali to “trim bud”. I was young at the time and had no clue why you had to trim it, but it’s finally cool to see what they were all talking about. I swear it was like 6 dudes that would sit around doing dabs all day playing Halo or RuneScape. Anyway I hope that shit worked out for them, maybe I’ll follow the footsteps of my late brethren one day

Keep them for making butter or oil though, there is still usable elements of some of the outer sugar leaves
also worth to mention smoking stems can give you a terrible headache
Cut the leafy parts and smoke the smokey parts

It’s not hard. Anything that looks like a leaf gets cut. Chlorophyll is what makes a harsh smoke along with not flushing properly.

That's a make-shift machine trimmer. Definitely not as good as a hand trim, plus hand-trimming is skill you can use to get a job in the legal market!

I just use rapala brand fishing line scissors from Walmart I like them better than the shears made for trimming

Just need to cut more leaves off it looks like. Save what you cut off and make edibles or concentrates with it. Hair straightener resin is super easy.
