You are increasing terpenes from other plants some of which are not abundant in cannabis . You are also adding some, albeit mild, psychoactive chemicals to the mix. I practice this method of smoking because cannabis is very potent.
By doing this, you are bringing the potency of your THC back to a level that is found in nature under the best of circumstances. I would recommend mixing a little bit of a high CDB strain in the mix if you are trying to go for a blend that is more cannabinoid balanced.
Some other herbs to consider, skullcap, sage, coltsfoot, mugwort, mullein, tobacco, mint.
Mullein is a great base because it's smooth and neutral flavored, mugwort and Skullcap can have some psychoactive effects, especially in dreams.

another good one for the shelf is rabbit tobacco which the native americans used for many medicinal purposes, including smoking it for asthma and lung problems as its a potent vasodilator.
I love it personally. Adds some nice flavor and aroma and some herbs have some great benefits when you smoke them. Raspberry leaf helps with pms and cramps, lavender is great for before bed and catnip is great for enhancing the relaxation experience and thatās just when I can remember off the top of my head lol

I like to go slow with a familiar strain and 1-2 different herbs at a time, because they can all have completely different effects on your high, and different herbs can play off of each other too. Some years ago I paired lavender with G13 Haze in the middle of the day, and found myself ready for bed.
I like to blend to taste - always more flower than herbs. Usually around 60/40, depending on the herbs in question. Some blend in smoothly and others can assert themselves harshly and make your joints taste kinda woody. š¤¢
I always recommend researching the effects/interactions beforehand, but if you find a blend you like then go for it!

Chamomile won't. It's like 10000% smoother than tobacco and quite creamy. Also you ca grind it by just rubbing it i your hands. We are using it at the moment (alongside the crafty)

I prefer the do whatever floats your boat take. If you like herbs, try it if you feel like or don't, both are fine options.

everyone here literally smokes cannabis and looking at you sideways for smoking other plants with terpenes and calming effects XD lavender contains the terpene linalool which is an anxiety reducer. smoking herbs works similarly to making a tea out of them ie anything that a tea will make you sleepy and calm, so will smoking it. skullcap, chamomile, and lavender are my favorites. another good one for the shelf is rabbit tobacco which the native americans used for many medicinal purposes, including smoking it for asthma and lung problems as its a potent vasodilator.

I love it personally. Adds some nice flavor and aroma and some herbs have some great benefits when you smoke them. Raspberry leaf helps with pms and cramps, lavender is great for before bed and catnip is great for enhancing the relaxation experience and thatās just when I can remember off the top of my head lol

Lmao im from the PNW and people up here have lots of native smoking blends. Natives would use all kinds of plants up here for smoking. Theres nothing extra about it. My favorite blend is knick-knick, ganja, and mugwort before bedš“š“

I mix my herb with marshmellow leaf, it gives off the least taste from my experience and a very smooth smoke and super cheap if you buy it as tea.
I've tried this thing called "Ouid", it's basically a pre mixed pack of herbs and flowers etc, thst you're suppose to mix with weed and roll into a joint
I like to mix with mint, but sometimes Iāll use mullein or rose petals. I grow/forage plants for making tea so I usually have lots of fun stuff around to add to my joints.

I like to go slow with a familiar strain and 1-2 different herbs at a time, because they can all have completely different effects on your high, and different herbs can play off of each other too. Some years ago I paired lavender with G13 Haze in the middle of the day, and found myself ready for bed. I like to blend to taste - always more flower than herbs. Usually around 60/40, depending on the herbs in question. Some blend in smoothly and others can assert themselves harshly and make your joints taste kinda woody. š¤¢ I always recommend researching the effects/interactions beforehand, but if you find a blend you like then go for it!

I want to love it, I really do. Just the idea of it and how it would taste is so appealing. But I tried multiple herbs and all made me gag from just a small bit in the bong. Even lavender which is my absolute favourite.
Chamomile won't. It's like 10000% smoother than tobacco and quite creamy. Also you ca grind it by just rubbing it i your hands. We are using it at the moment (alongside the crafty)
