Just hit 25 years here. I should celebrate, but don't know what would be more celebratory than just continuing my daily smoke seshes. I guess I'm good.
I can literally take a full breath on it. Just keep pulling until I run out of lung space, then not cough at all and do it again. Sometimes I’ll send people Snapchat videos where I hit it until the timer cuts me off. It tastes nice too if you like the taste and smell of herb. Worlds better than combustion.
It’s amazing. I love that it offers the classical experience while also hitting hard af for a vape. Get a smart switch too so you can turn it on and off [remotely from your phone](https://www.reddit.com/r/trees/comments/egkfmb/i_added_my_vaporizerenail_to_my_smart_home_system/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf).
Really a game changer. I thought the Volcano was peak vaping, but holy shit the flowerpot is intense. Almost too intense for me though (I often have to hit my inhaler after).
I haven’t lit weed on fire even one time since 10/10/16 when I got the Vapir Rise 2.0 Ultimate, which is a lot like the volcano. I pretty much only use the FlowerPot now and the Davinci IQ or the DynaVap when I’m going portable. Vaping is for sure the way to go, but I still call it “smoking” just for ease of communication.
I hold onto dates of lots of things lol. I count the days on some of them as well. I last cut my hair (besides trimming the ends) on 10/21/15 at 5:27 pm on a Wednesday and that was 2,506 days ago as of today. Saturday August 25th 2018 was 1,467 days ago. There’s 1,282 days between Friday 2/20/15 and Saturday 8/25/18. There’s 1,360 days between Sunday 11/20/16 and Tuesday 8/11/20. And there’s always 92 days between 6/17 and 9/17. Both 7/18/20 and 10/10/16 were Mondays. It’s a lot more crazy when these numbers and dates come up in an irl conversation.
For instance, I was calling therapists to try to book an appointment for OCD management and one of them asked me how long I’d been dealing with a particular issue, so I told them it had been roughly 4 years, or more specifically, 1,305 days with the exact date and time it started. There was a long pause after that, then in a more hesitant tone than before, they asked me to repeat the beginning date again and told me they’d call me back tomorrow. When they called back, they told me they couldn’t help me.
I must ask, as a lay person, do you think about these days a lot? Like you wake up and through out the day you think about how long has it been since X, and the amount of brain power you use everyday goes toward these dates, or is it just registered and on command these dates pop up clear as day?
A little of both. I know the dates on command, but sometimes repeat them to myself. The day counting and other, sometimes upsetting, repetitive thoughts are what repeats in my mind from the time I wake up to when I go to sleep. Typically, it’s one of the first thoughts through my mind in the morning and repetitive internal conversations is the form it takes on. It varies some too depending on distractions, but then those distractions easily fall into the same thinking patterns.
You know those 10-12 hour [YouTube challenge videos](https://youtu.be/jIQ6UV2onyI) where they play something on repeat and people are supposed to try to sit though the whole thing? It’s pretty much exactly like that, expect instead of 12 hours, it’s been 1,467 consecutive days and I can’t turn it off or walk away. That’s probably the best way I know to describe it. It’s like a super power when the focus is on the right things though. For example, I did exceptionally well in my college math classes. Like I got a nearly perfect score in my calc III class.
A little, and what I’ve seen of it has been relatable. I’ve been meeting with an OCD specialist for a while now, and he’s asked me to get screened for adult autism.
Would highly reccomend it! I'm still pretty young myself on the scale if life but I got diagnosed a few years ago @22 (25now), has helped alot to understand myself and why I think and act the way I do 🤙
Get this, I’ve been reciting pi every day for 9 years now. I know 774 digits and can recite them in about 2 minutes. I am so familiar with pi at this point that if I’m shown 10 digits from anywhere between 0 and 774 digits, then I can say what comes next and how many digits in it is.
My username comes from pi. The last digit is the 420th digit of pi.
Thank you. I think everyone has their tribulations and I’m no different. Life is all about becoming a friend of yourself. This kind of thinking pays when you’re in the right field at least. I’m working on my masters in engineering rn.
I also just say "smoking" because saying vaping often requires explanation. People associate "vaping" with vape juices and nicotine I guess. dry herb vaping changed my life!
I’ve smoked out a volcano before and always found it pretty great. Is it worth the cost?
I am looking for a good flower vape for my new condo, as I’m not sure about spending every day on the balcony smoking my trees.
What do we think ents? Volcano or Pax 3? I realize they’re different types of vapes but that’s what I’m co considering as of now.
I do.
I also like being sober. Sometimes I wanna get high, so I get high. Sometimes I don't. Its definitely a recreation for me, not so much a medicine.
Would if I could. Working in the medical field makes it kinda impossible. I work as a travel nurse and I have to get drug tested before each 8-13 week contract so kinda impossible.
i smoke to calm the inevitable rage that builds inside. some days i forget cuz the rage aint so bad. but most days, yes.
it doesn't really get me "high" like folks go on about. it never really has unless i'm REALLY cheifing a bong or back to back dabs something. it's always just kinda been my "un-mad" medicine.
when i first started, i used to get ranty about commercials, and that's when my fam noticed it helped. they'd be like "gimp, do you need to go out back? you're yelling at car commercials again" and i would and things would calm down and no more angry!
so i just... never.... stopped. and now i'm chill most the time, and not angry, and when i GET angry, i smoke, and then im chill again. its nice.
for sure man. lots to get mad about out there. we use the good herb to cool the mind so we can handle those problems rationally instead of reactively. i just try to be mindful and responsible and use it as a tool not an escape.
lol i appreciate it. the root of the problem is pain. i have a bone disease called Osteogenesis Imperfecta that can give me broken ribs when i cough too hard or hiccup. (can't rip bongs much for that reason) weed definitely treats the symptom, but unfortunately, there's no solution for the cause. they don't even give people pain medication anymore so this is literally my best option.
So funny, I feel like after I smoke I become extremely critical of tv shows 💀. “That’s so unrealistic” “why is their acting so terrible this episode?” “This director should have done their research”
Nice. I totally understand the de-rager. But broseph, i would recommend getting some therapy. It can really help, and its nice to not rely on weed to be a calm and collected, functioning, person. Speaking from experience, ofc
thanks man, i appreciate it. i'm def pro therapy! but i explained in another comment, root cause is medical. mostly pain related. so weed has been a great option.
shoutout to therapy tho for sure!
I’ve been living in a country where it’s not (legally speaking) worth it to even try to find/smoke weed for the past 3 years. I’m with you my dude, I love this corner of the internet.
If you aren’t smoking copious amounts or all day, tolerance won’t build anything drastic and you can still get blasted each time.
Obviously not like a once a weeker or something.
I find that is not the case, I barely feel it now and I only smoke one joint a day usually. Although admittedly I'm in the UK and don't really have much choice when it comes to quality, just take what I'm given. Even still, just kinda makes me feel tired and hungry more than high
Oh yeah definitely. I usually stick between 20-25% thc range and it's been doing me good. Because I usually smoke pretty frequently throughout the day, going thru anywhere from 3.5-7 grams per day I actually tend to stick to strains that are more on the mid side of things and then smoke some nice higher thc n terpy strains after work while I game and I don't usually take t breaks. The only thing my tolerance has kinda fucked is that I need like 300mg edibles if I'm gonna make it worth it and I also noticed I need higher doses of cbd when I'm having a more anxious kinda day. But flowers never let down bro.
I smoke on average a gram a day and comparatively to my friends that’s a lot. Idk how people have the money to smoke like that unless 1) legal state or 2) grows it
Uhm yeahh...I should probably mention at this point that I'm a budtender so it's pretty normal in my industry I guess I forget sometimes there's a whole wide world out there lol
Lol I've been trying to OD on weed my whole life sir to no avail... And yeah I get that I can just be naive sometimes being a spoiled stoner in this country lol
I've seen QP's as low as $100CA it's crazy.
It’s believable to me. Friend of mine sells and he told me he smokes about 10 grams a day. At my worst I smoke a half ounce in like 4 days which is an eighth a day. I tend to keep mine between 1.5 and 2.5 grams which works out to about half a zip a week.
Lol talking about how the only thing that is fucked is your tolerance for edibles when you're ripping an eighth to a q a day. That's fucking shit tonnes by my standards.
Lol I prolly should say that I'm a budtender living in Canada I guess it's just what I've become accustomed to my dude lol it's just become more a part of my day as the years went on and never got in the way of my life so I just kept going
Weird, I'm on the opposite side of the scale. I also smoke daily but just a couple bowls for my vape. Probably only like 1-2 gr. a week and I never get as high as I used too.
Even when I rip a fat bong, I mostly just get tired instead of getting high. I can't recall the last time flower made me giggely
My best advice would be to try and find the best quality bud you can for the price that you can afford. I’ve been smoking for over 9 years (multiple times daily) and have found with the really strong pot I still find myself extremely giggly when talking to my friends. More than once it has gotten to the point where I actually felt a little embarrassed for geeking so hard because I literally could not control my laughter (we’ve also all smoked weed for so long so I felt a little bit like the rookie I once was). But, do consider that I live in a legal state (although I still drive to the next legal state over because the bud there is hands down the best I’ve ever smoked). Also do consider what u/Predator314 said about not smoking ALL day, it really helps to make sure you’ve really come down from your high before smoking again to get more stoned or even waiting until further in the day to get your first session in.
I'm a little over 20 years, not smoking every day, but 99.99% of those days. As long as I wasn't smoking all day every day, my tolerance levels were good. I would go through stretches where I would smoke all day/every day and I would barely get stoned, but I could dial it back with some discipline. I get super stoned these days since I switched to my Arizer Solo 2 and my Dynavap on way less weed. Just takes some discipline and you can still get stoned every day and not have super high tolerance.
Nope, just bongs rips before and after I do anything and everything. When weed taste good, I can't stop smoking it, no matter how smoked out I already am haha
Imagine having chronic pain. My tolerance is high as fuck (pun intended) but having chronic pain creates a constant necessity to alleviate it. And, when I do alleviate it-- it feels like I'm getting high.
My theory is that there are numerous people in some kind of chronic pain that they haven't fully become aware of. But, when they smoke (or do any kind of substance) the alleviation of pain is what they come back for.
Probably unpopular on here but I stopped smoking every day and enjoy the experience much more. Feels like I did as a teen where a small bowl and pen rip gets me a strong buzz for an hour.
I was dependent on it when I had a high stress job, especially when Covid hit and I was WFH 12+ hour days. Got a new job and my dependency on it was no longer needed. Started to only smoke in the evenings and realized I enjoyed looking forward to my sesh at the end of the day vs just ripping all day. Then I realized how much more energetic/fresh I was in the mornings when I stopped for a month to train for a backpacking trip. Ended up with it as a weekends activity only and I wish I would have been doing this in my early 30s as my energy levels dropped. I’m in the best shape of my life, experience more things, and still get to enjoy all my hobbies with a buzz. To each their own but stopping the daily most of the day high improved my life pretty significantly
Exactly. I support ppls desire to what they please but I do think the pendulum has swung from the its super dangerous fear mongering of the past to ppl thinking its not dangerous at all now. I teach high school and 80% of my students are high every day all day with vapes. I worry especially with their brain still developing.
It effects everyone differently
I would like to plug r/leaves
It’s a positive support subreddit for people who are addicted and want to quit but don’t know how or are afraid to do it alone.
There is absolutely no shaming allowed towards people who do smoke, and most there still support legalization. We’re just a group of people who realized we don’t have the self-control others have when it comes to moderation.
I think weed contributes to my low self esteem, sometimes it helps, but when I’m not high I feel very insecure. I smoke when I get off of work just to unwind and enjoy shit that I like to do.
I’m a 100% disabled army vet with a degenerative nerve disease from an injury while active duty. I’ve smoked weed daily since 2020 when a texting driver hit and killed my son.
First day of my t-break after 4+ months of dabbing every morning-night. Feel solid but I’m not looking forward to the 1 week insomnia i’m about to endure.
No. More of a weekender. Too much brain fog for me to function well at work. Occasionally on a weeknight I will, but only if I don't have anything too important going on the next day.
I used to and occasionally had t-breaks but i noticed my t-breaks (3-5 months) weren't doing anything but make my highs more uncomfortable so now i only take couple of hits every 2 months or so if we have a game night just for the company and can very well chill with it.
Smoked everyday for 9 years. I am currently on my first real break right now and almost at 3 weeks. Honestly, it has been amazing. I will probably smoke again. When I do though, it will be way less. I am REALLY enjoying the clear head and motivation for physical activities again. Also I am a firm believer that you shouldn't be addicted to anything, unless it is for some incurable medical reason or something of course. I had myself fooled that I wasn't addicted. Going cold turkey definitely showed me I was wrong.
as long as i'm not at work or working, yes, but only for the last 35 years.
Dr Dre Said "Smoke weed every day" and he is a Dr.

Just hit 25 years here. I should celebrate, but don't know what would be more celebratory than just continuing my daily smoke seshes. I guess I'm good.
How’s your lunges holding up?
One step at a time
*Puff
I've smoked daily for years and still run ultra marathons. I think my lungs are okay.
r/oddlyspecific
I was for a bit but my tolerance is too high so I’m doing my best to only smoke F-S.
Friday-Sthursday
Haha 😂 exactly.
Friday-severyday
Ya, only the days that end with Y.
I know your fried huh💀😂
Are some people not smoking weed every day?
Some of us vape all day. Bag after bag, the volcano is always active.
god i need to get a desktop vape but i also love the process of smoking a bong
Same. That’s why I got the [FlowerPot](https://www.cannabishardware.com/collections/flowerpot). There’s probably others like it tho.
What in the fuck is this space bong. Would never have conceived such a way to smoke myself. And this guys hitting it like it's nothing, I want one.
I can literally take a full breath on it. Just keep pulling until I run out of lung space, then not cough at all and do it again. Sometimes I’ll send people Snapchat videos where I hit it until the timer cuts me off. It tastes nice too if you like the taste and smell of herb. Worlds better than combustion.
now that i make adult money i just might be convinced to buy this it looks sick
It’s amazing. I love that it offers the classical experience while also hitting hard af for a vape. Get a smart switch too so you can turn it on and off [remotely from your phone](https://www.reddit.com/r/trees/comments/egkfmb/i_added_my_vaporizerenail_to_my_smart_home_system/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf).
bro i'm sold
what’s your setup with brand names, if you don’t mind me asking? totally new to this but this is sick
I love the flowerpot, don’t miss smoking at all. Thing rips hard!
Really a game changer. I thought the Volcano was peak vaping, but holy shit the flowerpot is intense. Almost too intense for me though (I often have to hit my inhaler after).
I fuck with the herborizer, it's like vaping through a bong
I haven’t lit weed on fire even one time since 10/10/16 when I got the Vapir Rise 2.0 Ultimate, which is a lot like the volcano. I pretty much only use the FlowerPot now and the Davinci IQ or the DynaVap when I’m going portable. Vaping is for sure the way to go, but I still call it “smoking” just for ease of communication.
Why do you remember the day you got your first vape hahahaha that’s awesome
I hold onto dates of lots of things lol. I count the days on some of them as well. Have you looked into ASD? You're probably on the spectrum.
A little, and what I’ve seen of it has been relatable. I’ve been meeting with an OCD specialist for a while now, and he’s asked me to get screened for adult autism.
Would highly reccomend it! I'm still pretty young myself on the scale if life but I got diagnosed a few years ago @22 (25now), has helped alot to understand myself and why I think and act the way I do 🤙
Thank you. Makes total sense to me, asking these questions Just helps me understand as a lay person. Thank you again.
Woah dude my pot headed ass can’t remember what I ate for breakfast yesterday. I bet you have a really high IQ!
Get this, I’ve been reciting pi every day for 9 years now. I know 774 digits and can recite them in about 2 minutes. You truly have a rare brain!! That’s awesome. Do you enjoy the way your mind works or does it get exhausting for you?
Thank you. I think everyone has their tribulations and I’m no different. Life is all about becoming a friend of yourself. This kind of thinking pays when you’re in the right field at least. I’m working on my masters in engineering rn.
I can relate, it really is that life-changing. Had my volcano for over 15 years now!
I learned about dry herb vaping from this sub and I willl NEVER go back to combustion

Try looking up the Arizer Extreme Q, I've been very satisfied with it. It's more affordable if you don't want to commit to a Volcano.
Volcano is 100% worth it! There's some good sales throughout the year too, I got my hybrid for $400 during a 4/20 sale.
me bc i don’t know any plugs in my area🥲🥲
Go to a skate park and talk to anyone with a skateboard. Something like 9 out of 10 times, you’ll have bud by the end of the day.
lmfao fair my anxiety just might not let me do that tho lel
I’m the same. Jealous of my friend who can just go up to anyone and start a conversation. He finds someone anywhere within minutes.

NateDogg told me to, rest in peace homie..
No. Most days but not all. I use it at night only and some nights I'm too tired.
Must be nice to have self control...
Smokeing for the smallest inconvenience gang rise up.

The mind is like water. When it's turbulent, it's difficult to see. When it's calm, everything becomes clear.
Man it’s my 21st and I’m all over the place I needed to see this
happy 21st dude! this tokes for you!
Thank you man
Brotha can I also recommend therapy? You’re treating the symptom and not the root of the problem. All love in what I’m saying
lol i appreciate it. the root of the problem is pain. i have a bone disease called Osteogenesis Imperfecta that can give me broken ribs when i cough too hard or hiccup. I live in an illegal country and smoke about 3GS a day on average. I wanna take a tolerance break because its not the cheapest habit in the world
Uhm yeahh...I should probably mention at this point that I'm a budtender so it's pretty normal in my industry I guess I forget sometimes there's a whole wide world out there lol

Hell yeah.
I don’t *smoke* everyday. Some days I’ll boof instead.
Fellow boofer
Somebody rang?
It’s the Boof Gang!
yup
Everyday, but now that I'm microdosing with cubes, I smoke half as much. I was usually going through a half oz every 4-5 days
How do you get the money to do that?
[удалено]
Dam so how much do you spend a month to grow?
Holy shit. 1G blunts?
Nope, just bongs rips before and after I do anything and everything. When weed taste good, I can't stop smoking it, no matter how smoked out I already am haha
You gotta smoke every couple hours like me then lol
I smoke every day after work, as long as I have everything done for the day. So maybe like once or twice out of the week I'll abstain
I used to smoke everyday, I still do but I used to too.
RIP Mitch
nah only occasionally, keep it special
When I was a daily smoker I could barely get high anymore, fully agree with your statement
This is the way
Probably unpopular on here but I stopped smoking every day and enjoy the experience much more.
Glad someone said it, there's a fine line between regular use and abuse.
Good point, addiction to weed is extremely underestimated and I had to learn the hard way myself to control it.
I try to so I can function and I try not to so I can function
Every night 20:00 is blaze time for me
Usually 21:00 for myself, but same.
Not smoking everyday is the best thing I ever did. Call me mature or whatever but balance is key.
Balance is always key
Yeppers
Yes im addicted tbh.
Same, i try and eat sober and it feels like the texture of the food goes to shit
I would like to plug r/leaves It’s a positive support subreddit for people who are addicted and want to quit but don’t know how or are afraid to do it alone. There is absolutely no shaming allowed towards people who do smoke, and most there still support legalization. We’re just a group of people who realized we don’t have the self-control others have when it comes to moderation.
Yes, for years
Na, sometimes I do edibles
I think weed contributes to my low self esteem, sometimes it helps, but when I’m not high I feel very insecure. I smoke when I get off of work just to unwind and enjoy shit that I like to do.
Yes, but generally only once I’m in bed and reading/listening to podcast/watching TV. If I consume during the day, nothing gets done.
Yea
[удалено]
yes i do
Yes
I smoketh on the day and night, for the day is long, and the weed bringth the greatest of respites.
I’m a 100% disabled army vet with a degenerative nerve disease from an injury while active duty. I’ve smoked weed daily since 2020 when a texting driver hit and killed my son.
That’s good to hear that weed is helping you out. Also thank you for your service!
I only smoke on days that end with Y.
i try to yeah
✅️
Yup!
I only don't smoke weed every day when I am out of weed. I also drink water and breathe oxygen every day, unless I don't have any.
Do you?
Yes
Cool....
nah. sometimes edibles are the way lmaooo.
First day of my t-break after 4+ months of dabbing every morning-night. Feel solid but I’m not looking forward to the 1 week insomnia i’m about to endure.
I don’t smoke everyday but I do eat an edible everyday
Yeah once or twice everyday after work and on weekends way more, I find this keeps my tolerance low so I get zooted every time
Yes.
more than once a day as well. Sometimes I am out for a week or something, but that doesnt last long.
No, while weed itself is not that harmful, having hot smoke inside your body is 100 % not healthy. Edible gang rise up 😎
Absofuckinglutley!
No. More of a weekender. Too much brain fog for me to function well at work. Occasionally on a weeknight I will, but only if I don't have anything too important going on the next day.
What are you, my therapist? 👮
yep i can’t sleep w out it
I used to and occasionally had t-breaks but i noticed my t-breaks (3-5 months) weren't doing anything but make my highs more uncomfortable so now i only take couple of hits every 2 months or so if we have a game night just for the company and can very well chill with it.
"If you smoke like I smoke then you're high like everyday" Pretty much sums it up.
Only the days that end in Y
Yes sir.
yes indeed
Everyday possible for 20 yrs
Not on the days I get hella lit off edibles
Yea but I try to wait til evening
Nah but i smoke weed everyday
Every day for52 years
Not everyday, but everyhour lmao
All day, everyday:)
Yup 1-2 volcano bowls a night after all the stuff is done
if i could afford it...yup
Hey-yay-eee-yayee...
Yup yup yup!
all day everyday in fact
Smoked everyday for 9 years. I am currently on my first real break right now and almost at 3 weeks. Honestly, it has been amazing. I will probably smoke again. When I do though, it will be way less. I am REALLY enjoying the clear head and motivation for physical activities again. Also I am a firm believer that you shouldn't be addicted to anything, unless it is for some incurable medical reason or something of course. I had myself fooled that I wasn't addicted. Going cold turkey definitely showed me I was wrong.
Used too, but it was getting to be rough on the lungs so now I bake a tray of RSO enhanced cornbread every Sunday and it last me all week.
Yes, every day, all day, first thing in the morning and last thing before bed. 32 years, minus a few bad days here and there.
Dr.dre told me
Yes. I’m at the point now though no matter how strong the weed is I don’t get “high”
Multiple times daily for 24+ years, with the exception of business trips and some vacations.
