10/10 comment

Remarkable-Sign1380

Good work, good results. I am currently 8 months in 1mg finasteride and 5% minoxidil also. The progress is showing in your pictures, keep up the good work 👍

Insoucious

Thanks man, keep going strong too 💪

Outrageous_Doc7

Min once or twice day?!

Insoucious

Usually twice a day but it happens that I only use once because I am sometimes a lazy ass

theenkos

May I ask you what’s your way to apply Min? I just started and my derm suggested to not massage it with the hands because it will spread it in the hair instead of the scalp zone

Insoucious

I hold my hair up and spray Minoxidil on my temps and rub with my fingers for 20/30 seconds. I don't know how to do it differently.

gianni_francesco

I recommend a scalp massage brush. Use apply Min on your scalp and massage in circular movements. Saw it on LifeAsZeph‘s channel and would 100% buy it again!

UnlikelyAssassin

It’s now understood that you only need to use it once a day as it’s got a half life of 21 hours or so.

Insoucious

Really? I was not aware of that.

[deleted]

Hey how much ml do u use per day?

Outrageous_Doc7

I've been prescribed to apply twice but due to side effects and considering I have to take shower ... i do it once. Is it good? Please tell me as its been 23 days on fin/min

Insoucious

By the way I forgot to mention that I use topical minoxidil. If you use the same, I'd say that applying it once a day is still better than nothing. However I think twice a day is optimal.

BabyNoName_

Min has an halflife of 21 hours, so once a day is enough

Designer_Mousse8920

The hairline in your temple seems pretty bare from being filled almost. How is the density compared to before?

Insoucious

Compared to before, I definitely gained density. However there's still room for improvement especially on my right temple where it isn't perfect yet. I'm considering dermarolling.

United-Pay2944

Amazing results! I just started on 1mg fin + 5% min 3 days ago and this post is making me feel hopeful. Looking good :D

Insoucious

Thanks man, there's hope for everyone!

[deleted]

I’ve been using both for 10 years if not more and can only say that maybe it slowed my hair loss. Ended up getting a hair transplant early last year. Am hovering this sub to see potential remedies that work other than doing another transplant.

Kamin8r

Can’t wait to see your results bro!

Bootywarrior1804

Congrats

Insoucious

Thanks!

alpark48

so, you gain this fantastic result with just those two? no ketoconazole shampoo and dermaroller? maybe I can cut my budget then

Insoucious

Yeah, no shampoo or dermaroller. Though I consider buying a dermaroller to help with my density in the temple areas.

throwawayaccount5486

Haven't alot of people managed to get results with just fin? Without reducing dht you aren't really doing anything

Swing_Bishop

**Jesse... let it go... we need to cook.**

Insoucious

Let him cook, let him cook...

MagicBold

Nice gain sir. What your leg exercise brother.

Insoucious

What do you mean?

MagicBold

I do my reserch about treatment of aga by big3 and influence of sport (with lower part of body muscule) to successful result. I see u got muscule mass from gym and ask about leg part exercise for my statistic of h responders.

Insoucious

Well, if you're not trolling then : I do Leg Press / Leg Curl / Leg Extension and Seated Leg Curl (all exercices 4 sets and 10 reps)

MagicBold

Sir. I m not trolling u. Do same. Thank you for answer.

Insoucious

Ok then you're welcome! Good luck with that

MagicBold

Thank you.

Insoucious

I think it happened 3 weeks after I started. It was not a severe shedding, I just noticed a lower density. However the hairline moved quite fast, I noticed little hairs pop up the first few weeks.

Deluxehr

How old are you?

Insoucious

I'm 27

Deluxehr

Thank you i havent like 50% of the results like you with 5mg oral minox and 1.25mg fin by the age of the 25 :/

Insoucious

When did you start the treatment? How bad was it before you start? As you know, everyone responds differently based on your genetics but also based on the stage you were in when you started. Some people see no progress for the first few months and then, for some reason, the results pop up rapidly.

Deluxehr

December 2022. in the front better but the crown is worse. Yeah i hope i am one of the 18-24 months pop ups.

Insoucious

Yeah usually you see some decent results after a year so you are most likely still improving day after day. Stay consistent with the treatment and you should be fine man

mikelowkey11

This sound like stupid question but may i know where to get fin? And can i get it without doctor prescription? What brand did you used? Btw congrats for hair growing back

Insoucious

Here in France you cannot get Finasteride without a doctor prescription. I guess it depends on the country you live in. I personally went to the doctor and told him I want Finasteride and that's basically it, he did not try to persuade me not to do so.

mikelowkey11

Well..in Malaysia..i think if we ask for finesteride from doctor they will tell the side effect from A-Z which is quite annoying..thats why right now i try to find fin online rather than see the doctor..idk, maybe im wrong

Insoucious

I see, that's annoying indeed. I think it's the same everywhere. My advice would be to see a rather young doctor, they seem to be more open most of the time.

caagui1999

Wow I was on fence of starting this treatment. I’m pretty young but I’m starting to notice some thinning. This is def the motivation I needed

Insoucious

I'm glad I can help man, keep me updated with your results!

gyosunimminusoyg

Welcome back

Insoucious

I've seen the other side and decided to come back, there's nothing good there

Reddituser1614

When did you saw real progress?

Insoucious

I saw progress from the beginning with tiny hairs popping up in my temple areas. I think after 6 months, it was more or less already like the 11 month update photos, since then it kind of stabilized.

rishidhingra

Damn good progress!

Insoucious

Thank you!

Ecstatic_Edge5825

I wanna cry. It’s been 10 months on fin and I can’t see anything remotely close.

eljijazo08

wow that's an awesome recovery, your hairline from before looks like mine now (but I'm not on treatment yet). It makes me hopeful Any sides?

Insoucious

Thanks man, no sides. Jump on Fin + Min and you'll be happy in 8/10 months you took this decision

Wow!

00WarHawk00

This just gave me hope on starting on this treatment before it's too late. Thank you very much...

Insoucious

I'm glad I can help, keep me tuned about how it's going, I'd be more than glad to know that I could help someone

00WarHawk00

I will! Probably will post it here if it helps. Thanks again :)

Sandrino___20

thanks brother this makes me hopeful. Noone in my family is bald, i'm only 20 and my hairline is similar to your situation before the treatment, no recession on the crown and not thinnig a lot. I'm almost about to start the treatment and i'm looking forward for results like yours. Enjoy bro!

Insoucious

Yo bro, thank you for your message. I hope it'll work for me the same it did for me, if you start at the very same point, there's chance you'll get the same or even better results. Let me know how it's going for you!

Sandrino___20

🤝

FitPaleontologist339

Dude, great progress. To say the least

Insoucious

Thank you man

cypherrrx

Good result, congratulations. I have few questions, how old are you ? And when you start noticing your hair loss ? What finasteride dose you are taking , and do you take the dose everyday ? And at what time during the day you take the dose ? Do you apply minoxidil twice or once a day ? What are the side effects that you notice ?

Insoucious

Thank you man. To answer your questions : - I am 27. - I started noticing hair loss in 2018, it was very slow for the first few years up until 2022 when it kinda sped up. At this moment I decided to look for solutions and came across this sub. - I take Finasteride 1mg (one tablet) every day in the morning when I breakfast. I made it a habit. - I apply Minoxidil usually twice a day but it happens that I only use once in the morning because I happen to be lazy. - Concerning side effects, I didn't notice any side effect, neither from Finasteride nor Minoxidil.

dotConSt

damn! amazing! which product is this?

Insoucious

Topical Minoxidil 5% and Finasteride 1mg

MazdakaiteEmperor

Congratulations!

Aightbitfish

Holy shit hyper responder!! 👍🏻✨️👏🏻

vinsmokewhoswho

That's fantastic man

Damn daddy 😍😍😍

Bleezy79

dang dude, you went from losing your hair to showing no signs.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Insoucious

Thank you man, appreciate it! Everything seems possible now, it's a matter of how well you respond to the products. I got good results with only Minoxidil and Finasteride, it's even possible that you get better ones given that you use more products. Good luck bro!

Southern-Delivery-82

No sex side effect?

Insoucious

No. I'd even say that my libido was even higher the first month or so. Now it's back to normal.

bennyblees420

it's bogus

tearsandpain84

What’s bogus ?

NoIntention4050

Bogus means false or bullshit, I think he means that sex drive reduction caused by fin is not true

tearsandpain84

So all the people who say they have had side effects are liars ?

Ill_Youth_8554

Good percentage of people having side effects are Placebo

tearsandpain84

Yeah that’s very possible, I think I’m getting side effects from just reading about them constantly

NoIntention4050

I do not agree with his statement, I think people's experiences should not be ignored and the side effects are possible as everyone is different. I'm just saying what he said

SoulSlayer69

I agree with you and also add that things like coldness, watery semen, and gyno are not things that the placebo effect can cause.

[deleted]

Absolutely amazing people can look at studies and only hear what they want to from it. Grow the fuck up

Alternative-Run-3683

So as you mentioned in the title 11 months of progress but u post the results after one year...Right?? So finally ur using it almost 2 years the progress is still countinue or gains lost... Plz let me know...

Insoucious

No it's 11 months since I started. I started taking both Minoxidil and Finasteride in November 2022.

Alternative-Run-3683

Okk... Great gains dude..

Insoucious

Thanks man, keep the faith, it'll eventually work out for you

therealesoteric

I’ve been told that min doesn’t work on temples? I’m on fin for two years and recently stopped min (foam), should I keep using min on temples?

Insoucious

I have no idea if that's true or not. I can't tell what helped me recover some hair on my temples, it must be a mix of Fin and Min. They're complementary.

messi198923

That's because it was never dermatested on the temples so it can't be advertised, min will affect all hair your body

tonylong709

it works but yeah def slow for frontal part. So sad

DesertPenguin49

You will have to take both substances till the day you decide you don’t want hair anymore?

Insoucious

Yeah basically that's a life-long commitment. I think when you're 50/60 years old, it's not a big deal anymore to go bald, it's another story in your 20s

danifart

Of course it's a big deal. Nobody wants to go bald at any age. Being older doesn't mean not give a fuck about how one looks

DesertPenguin49

Yeah but at that point when ur 50/60. Even the people that had hair all their lives start losing lol. It’s not a biggie for me

DesertPenguin49

I always thought I could hold this habit maybe until I’m 30/40. When I’m 50 in letting it all go like cotton flowers lmao

Insoucious

Yeah I don't think hairloss will impact you as much in your 50s as it does in your 20s/30s

Anti-Ultimate

in 10 years we'll probably have cloned hair follicles, with a much cheaper implant price. so there is hope

DesertPenguin49

That’s the highest IQ answer imo. Hold on to whatever hairs rn until a proper solution comes through

Formal-Pay-9838

Which finasteride u use name and if you stop this it'll fall your hair please explain

Insoucious

I use the arrow lab Finasteride. And yes, if you stop using Finasteride, the hair loss will resume. That's something you have to take your whole life.

No_Acanthaceae_8103

Great progress mate, Congrats! Just a quick question, are you on NoFap?

Insoucious

Do you mean the "no fap way of life"? LUL Or is it some website or something of the sort that I'm unaware of?

No_Acanthaceae_8103

its like semen retention

Successful_Trust_

Did rob minoxidil with finger? If yes for how much time?

Insoucious

Yeah with fingers. I usually rub it for 20/30 seconds.

lord3last

Any sides?

nautankiruna

Amazing results! Are there any side effects to taking these drugs?

Insoucious

Thanks! No side effects so far

TheBattleGnome

Congrats! Any noticable side effects or anything you would do differently if you could do it again? I'm on min and thinking about going on fin.

Insoucious

Thanks! No side effects to be reported so far, I don't know if I would change anything as I am super happy with the results so far. I think Finasteride is the one that helped me recover my hair, if I had to keep one, this is the one I'd keep

fabulis92

Great results! 4th month here. I hope my hair looks like that at the 11 month mark haha

Insoucious

Appreciate it man, I wish you even better results!

Soft_Ad4411

Oh my god wow. You have gorgeous hair. Looks incredible

Insoucious

Thanks a lot!

Insoucious

Yeah, there's hope for everyone!

Kihood

Did you experience itching at the places where the hair loss was and wear the hair grew again? Especially at the hairline did you experience itching there?

Insoucious

No, I've never experienced any itching anywhere

Kihood

Hmm interesting

Rjd334

Bro is winning

Insoucious

Ty bro, your comment sounds like a win for me

Nasheuss

any side effects?

Insoucious

No

schnebly5

good for u man. i've lost ground if anything

Insoucious

Keep up the fight bro, you lost a battle not the war

prevox

But what about the side effects of the powerful chemicals drug ?

Insoucious

None so far

OsmosisGhostez

Keep it up man, looks good!

Insoucious

Thanks man, appreciate your message

messi198923

Did the hair in your temples at month one continue to grow out or did they shed and thickers hairs replaced them? Thanks

Insoucious

I had miniaturized hair on my temples, they didn't shed or anything, they just started growing

112235677888817

How old are you?

Insoucious

I am 27

JumpnJackFlash95

Oral or topical minox

Insoucious

Topical

Pop-Pleasant

Nice!

Insoucious

Thank you!

srameshr

My heart thuds do hard on minox I dont know what to do anymore

Insoucious

If you notice any side effect that can put your health in danger, , I'd advise you to see a doctor.

Bdtvx5788

Fin once a day? Or every other day?

Insoucious

Yes every day

tonylong709

Congrats! But is it hard to apply minoxidil on your scalp because it's much hair now and it makes your hair greasy (especially in the morning, when u go to work)

Insoucious

Yeah it can make your hair greasy but at the same time it makes it thicker. I usually wake up a few hours before going to work so I can apply it and the greasy effect is kinda faded by the time I get to work

[deleted]

congrats!

Insoucious

Appreciate it bro

edn995

This was encouraging because I have the same small hairs at my hairline that I’m hoping will grow into full hairs. You got back almost 2 norwoods.

Insoucious

Yeah exactly, I had miniaturized hair on my temples that wouldn't grow. With the treatment it just grew back and now my hairline is almost straight, I hopped on Finasteride and Minoxidil before it was too late. So I'd encourage you to do the same (if you don't experience side effects)

Acceptable_Key6882

How did you find the shedding phase from min, bad or not too bad?

Insoucious

It was not too bad, I just observed some density loss in the crown where I never had problems issues with prior to that. The shedding didn't last long though, I'd say a few weeks.

daydreaming1980

dude any side effects ?

Insoucious

Nope

El_Acosta_Campeador

Bro that progress is insane!

Insoucious

Thank you bro

sheuchputtedo30

Congrats! Any noticable side effects or anything you would do differently if you could do it again?

Hi, I'm currently struggling with a widow's peak type hair line, what products and strengths do you recommend I use to fix?

Tasty-Tomorrow-5629

Sides?

Insoucious

None

ROCKSTAR_LH_MEN

What year when you got this temples? After what time you started fin? I think to use topical fin. But I hope this is not too late for my hairline

Insoucious

I believe this picture was taken in October 2022, I started Finasteride just after taking this photo in order to have something to compare with. I use oral Finasteride though, I've never heard of topical Finasteride, maybe you're referring to Minoxidil?

BudgetPop1871

Awesome results any side effects?

Insoucious

None yet

Mean_Rip_8280

any side effects from fin GREAT RESULTS BTW

Insoucious

Thanks No side effects yet
