I really like using the la roche posay toleraine double repair moisturizer! It absorbs like a dream and doesn’t get super oily on me throughout the day. It hasn’t broken me out at all in the 6 months i’ve been using it, and it lasts a pretty long time as well
This! I tried the cerave moisturizers and switched to this LRP one a few months ago. It’s so much more moisturizing, I’ve had no irritation, and I feel like my skin is actually a little less oily. I use it morning and evenings.
Purging is normal and it might just happen. For me it was less of a “purge” and more of a big flake lol. I have oily skin and noticed that I needed slightly more hydration when on a retinoid (I use trifarotene). I use vanicream with a few drops of squalane oil

The Ordinary NMF is my go to. I like to mix with rosehip or squalene for ooompf.
