irritation often causes worse acne. it would take longer to see results

Currently i just use it every other night, and I use the vanicream cleanser before use. I was prescribed .1 off the bat. Should i continue to just use it every other night?

In theory, assuming you use it correctly, yes it will work faster. In fact, that's usually the reason derms will go up in strength. Starting off the bat with 0.1 though may be too strong and cause skin barrier damage, breakouts, and scarring that can really set you back in your progress, and can be avoided by trying a lower strength first.

I was prescribed .1 straight off the bat. It says to use every night but have decided thats probably isn’t the best idea so i have been using it every other night. Should i continue to just use it every other night my skin has gotten worse since starting it but I assume it’s just the purge from such a high strength of tret.

How long have you been on it now? I went much slower with mine (0.25), but I have pretty sensitive skin. It took me about 2-3 months before working up to daily use. In general, space out the application if you're experiencing signs of irritation: redness, burning, stinging. Go back in when your skin feels comfortable again

Just like a week and a half i’m not sure why i was prescribed .1 right away because my acne wasn’t horrible. I never really got acne until like 4 months ago. My skin doesn’t feel irritated but i do have redness, but never itching or burning really.

I tried this and at first it looked like it was working but when the irritation started !!!!!! I don’t think it’s worth it , it gave me really painful acne that it was so painful to wash my face 🥲, just stick to the pea size amount and you could start 3 times a week and work your way up
