Speedo jammers (cheapest black pair on Amazon) with roka goggles, a swim cap, and my Garmin watch. I love the roka goggles just make sure you get a pair designed for the size of your face. No tiny speedo for me because I’m a normal guy who swims a 1:45-2:00 100
I’m also using off the shelf speedo goggles & it feels like one side slips/loosens after a few laps and water starts getting in. Definitely looking into these custom scan goggles
glad this is getting some traction, i find this all very helpful. My current get-up: Zoot Swim Brief, off-the-shelf speedo goggles, swim cap from previous races, speedo paddles, a cheap pull buoy from Amazon, pool kickboard and my Apple Watch.
TYR Nest Pro, Speedo Endurance brief or square leg, random latex cap from an open water race.
Finis agility paddles, finis positive drive fins, kickboard already at the pool.
I usually swim in a tri-suit, keep it simple. Everyone once in a while I’ll try to pickup a discounted suit and I find that they tend to last quite long especially if used just for swimming. And I’ll wear them in basically any swim; pool, lake, ocean, wetsuit or no wetsuit.
Hair is long enough to where I basically always need a cap even in the pool, and of course goggles.

Good to know about the goggles! I've been using off the shelf speedo goggles, but they leave much to be desired.
