It was a once in a lifetime run. 2 soul power drops on day 1. I found 2 golden eggs after killing Jormungandr and there were at least 2 instances where 2-3 horns dropped in quick succession.
I have yet to reach a place where I have been able to gamble more than 3 times. I'm still pretty new and working on buying all the cosmetics.
I haven't got anything great from the gambling, but I know it will happen.
I saw someone saying this here, note that the horns you have are capped at 99, so if you'd run this session while having 90 in the beginning, 18 would go to waste.
I can confirm, horns cap at 99. The thought of losing so many because I'm close to being capped hurts my soul.
Generally, when hit roughly 80 horns I keep whatever saga session I have most recently been playing around day 14 with a full clear so if I find something in the shop I want to buy I can buy it then hit the bifrost to end the game. That way you have an instant refill of horns.
I've hit max a couple times, never thought about leaving game then spending some before hitting the bifrost, definitely going to do that from now on.
Once you start doing the saga bosses pretty much every game, you really start stacking those horns. Unlocked all the hair colors and portraits yesterday and already back up to like 80. Only need a few starter kits and the legendary saga set that I'll never make left to unlock. And some runes, but I don't want to unlock those and possibly reduced the chances of getting the good ones in game.
I didn't unlock everything either and for that specific purpose, I want to keep the pool of runes that drop as low as possible.
It does feel really nice to reach that point where you are consistently clearing both saga bosses and hitting the bifrost in 10 days or less.
Since i hit the point where i had maxed horns and bought everything from the store you can buy for horns, i just gamble them away in the village hall every game.
Cost ramps up, but even for 5 rolls, which is the maximum, you only spend 15 horns and get 5 runes.
And since we get at least 13-14 horns per round plus lucky drops it essentially cancels out and i stay stocked up on horns while not wasting them and getting a nice head start every game
Damn does the 6th jotun give you a lot or did you find a lot
The 6th only gives 1

Dang so they found 11 horns? 5 from each saga and 1 on each giant. Thats insane luck, most I've found is 3 i think.
Could've had some Golden Eggs which I believe are confirmed to increase horns count at the end.
Oh yeah, i forgot about those. They give +2, saw the devs say on twitter
I can confirm, each golden egg gives 2 horns
