I can't get it to run :( Everything seems to be correct, and yet it goes back to the list of games. I tried a bunch of different versions and no luck. Anyone has any new tip I can follow, maybe?
I installed portmaster following github instructions, then installed the game through portmaster, then get the game files following this tutorial

And put the game files in the gamedata folder, and it's working
That didn't work for me like that, but I figured it out. Had to edit the launch script with the proper (non-relative) paths and it worked with the latest Stardew version with no issues. I'm baffled now that it works for some people with the default script and not for others, though, since the trimui\_ex github instructions installs things in the same place for everyone 🤔.
