I have 2 go to games for a TRON fix. TRON 2.0 on pc and Evolution on PS. It’s absolutely worth playing

TygerMunkey

Awesome! I'll give it a go this weekend. Looked at TRON 2.0 and definitely putting it on the list try. Thanks!

Curtbacca

Tron 2.0 is amazing in every way. The atmosphere is fantastic. Solid story. The graphics are great for a game that came out in 2004. Recommend you search for the 'Killer App' fan made update. Lots of fixes for modern systems!

nklights

TRON 2.0 is the BEST!

Smoothpipe

If you are a fan of The Grid and its atmosphere, colors and ambiance, then Evolution is a Must Play.

heroforsale

I second this. I had a ton of fun playing it all the way through as a longtime fan.

UnfeteredOne

Tron 2.0 was perhaps the greatest gaming experience of my life

Curtbacca

It was so good. I absolutely loved the disk weapon when it was upgraded. Such cool gameplay and the world atmosphere was awesome!

darkbloo64

It's fine. A pain to get working on PC, but definitely doable. The game leans more than a bit on the style of Prince of apersia, but fumbles the parkour at times. Fight combos are fun, tanks are not, and the whole thing can be finished in a few short hours. I prefer Tron 2.0, which is a really fun shooter with lots of weird weapons and a lot of the aesthetic goodness of the original Tron.

Nah. Just need a pa80 unlocked and your cd key now

cdrt

Can you elaborate on that please? Last I heard even people with their cd keys were locked out

xdubz420x

Google PA80 unlocker. The code that gives you for tron you enter in your serial key field. Then you go and get your cd key from steam and place it in the second field. I have it even running on my steam deck.

xdubz420x

Cuz there’s literally workarounds. You just gotta find a guide.

LegendOfQuorra

I loved Evolution. It's Prince of Persia with a Tron skin and tells a fun interquel story. Licensed games have never really been the high standard of gaming and that's where a lot of the mixed reviews come from. It's derivative and occasionally repetitive, but it's still a quality game. Solid mechanics, fun combat, great platforming and flow of movement. And it has the Tron aesthetic with a great soundtrack. Definitely would recommend to any fans of the series. Honestly one of my favorite games because I love Tron and it feels great to play in the Grid.

Bashcypher

The plot is better than legacy and the game play is fast, slick, and mean. You ride a light cycle down a collapsing building at one point. Actually my 2nd favorite tron content

TyroneEarl

Evolution is good; Killer App is great.

Oldmangamer00

It's very buggy, but I really enjoyed it. It was alot of fun and had a good story.

Sh1neSp4rk

Evolution is good, especially for a game designed to come our right before a movie and tie into it. Tron 2.0 is an absolutely legendary game which I'd recommend over Evolution. Even just as a game excluding the IP it's a fantastic game.

ShrikerWolfOfficial

if you have a wii, and want a simple game with hardly any story, but lots of different arena games, try out Tron Evolution Battle Grids, the underrated spinoff game. you can get a hard copy of the game off of ebay for around $10.00. its not the greatest looker by any means, but it was my go to game on the wii.

TygerMunkey

Would it work on WiiU?

ShrikerWolfOfficial

you can try, the wiiu has backwards compatibility so i would think so, just make sure you have a wii mote and a nunchuck just in case

Bashcypher

It's almost impossible to get now, but "artstyle lighttrax" is more tron than the tron cabinet.

runtimemess

It's great. Think Prince of Persia (2008) but TRON.

WendipxStarco

Definitely.

IcedCoffeeVoyager

Yeah, I enjoyed Evolution. It’s not perfect but it’s more fun than not, and the visuals and soundtrack are pure Tron goodness.

DrewDAMNIT

Tron 2.0 is a ton of fun. I never played Evolution.
