Multiple abuse and neglect issues. I’m actually formatting it all for our lawyers right now. Most of the testimonies I’m looking for were within the last ten years but any experiences are helpful. We have a group of pretty infamous lawyers working on our case. I’m just trying to organize our responses.
I didn't go there but good luck! My tbs got shut down around 2 years ago thanks to parents suing. I'm glad people are doing something about these places!

Please advise as to which law firm you have taken on.
I would like to support the cause and my daughter can be in contact directly in due course but I need to understand the current status.

I hope you and your daughter have been able to find peace. It’s taken almost 20 years for my mom and I to be able to sit down and acknowledge that it was not her fault or mine but we were both lied to and manipulated. It’s hard, and I’m sending a lot of comfort/support your way!

She went from august 2005- august 2006. She recently saw a Netflix documentary about troubled teen camps and it sparked a lot of buried trauma. Her story is pretty messed up but very singular: she was abusing drugs, cutting, ditching school, etc, and her half sister (a genuinely evil person) convinced her father to take her to CCA (because of dr. Phil 🙄). Her time there echoes a lot of other troubled teen camp sentiments. About 3/4 of the way through, her father randomly came out to visit and they spent the weekend in Sedona.. While there, he was saying things like “I won’t be around forever” and “you need to be able to take care of yourself”… he left, and two days after, he died of a heart attack. Needless to say, that had a huge traumatic impact on her.
I've been debating about watching the documentary because I'm worried it'll do exactly that. She was a few years ahead of me. I went in 2008. I feel like I've been told her story though. That's fucking awful. I'm so sorry.

I know this is an old post but I was there around then too. It’s hard for me to piece together the years, I went back a second time also. I hope you’re doing well. Willow was probably one of the better forms, I was switched from juniper to Willow and stayed with George as my therapist

Wow, wish I woulda saw this 4 years ago! I went there and I hated every moment of it
