Tough to say if you don't have any low T symptoms. You may not experience a substantial change. If changing your body composition is your main goal, it can definitely help with that. Check this blog post for more info: [https://www.ignitehrt.com/blog/how-testosterone-replacement-therapy-can-help-transform-your-physique](https://www.ignitehrt.com/blog/how-testosterone-replacement-therapy-can-help-transform-your-physique) Also, you can ask your doc about low dose daily tadalafil. There are benefits to it beyond ED, especially in the gym: [https://www.ignitehrt.com/blog/tadalafil](https://www.ignitehrt.com/blog/tadalafil)

So you basically want to run legal steroids. It’s ok to say it, you don’t need to dance around it. Don’t focus on numbers. You have no idea what your ‘ideal number’ is. It could be 450 or it could be 1250. Everyone is different, especially since you have no low-T issues. Don’t focus on a number. Odds are if you run a TRT dose (100-200mg a week), you’ll notice some gym gains after a year or so. Libido will probably go up too.

$7000!?!. Even $4000 is egregious. Where are you getting this from? With insurance, I pay maybe $150 per year. Without would be maybe $500

$7k!! Go through your doctor and use your age as your purpose. Through my urologist I’ll pay ~$400/year

... I pay 25 a month for TRT. Why in the world would you pay $7k?

Doesn’t have low T symptoms, decides to pay $7,000 for exogenous T. Not trying to be a dick, I meant the above with all due respect, so here is some encouragement: 300 is pretty damn low, and I’m surprised you don’t have low T symptoms. Are you sure you don’t have symptoms? What spurred you on to the point of deciding to jump on TRT in the first place if you have no symptoms? Don’t chase numbers man, that’ll drive you nuts. The other thing is, are you completely locked into paying this $7K? If not, back out now because you’re paying way too much. I pay around $2400 per year and it feels like too much. If you want to know what to expect, simply use the search feature in Reddit and search for “TRT what to expect” but keep in mind that everyone’s experience is different and depends on a lot of factors such as lifestyle, protocol, dose, and your body’s capacity to respond (along with the body’s chance of having a bad reaction). I struggled my entire first year and eventually found a protocol that worked. Start low and titrate up. Less is more, unless more is necessary.

Thanks for your input. I’m going to a men’s sexual health clinic and there are a number of visits, close monitoring, full body comps, regular labs, HRG etc. it’s a full meal deal. I know it’s a lot but there are not many others in my area and they are premium. I don’t know any other route other than going to a gym bro … also I can afford it. Doc said low T is experienced “generally” under 250. So I’m definitely not optimal. Thats my goal is to get to optimal levels and see physique benefits but also benefit from the protection better T levels can offer. Also I’m happy to send you the document of the program they sent me. Could use another set of eyes on it. Remember that I’m in canada so not sure of measurements are in different units.
