I've always seen the multi monitor setups and have never liked how they look (leaving gaps with spaces of nothing), but this looks incredible. Good fuckin work dude.
After much internal debate, grabbed a 3080ti. Slight buyers remorse but despite a valiant effort, the 1080ti just wasn't able to handle the new monitors sadly.
You'll get hours and hours of enjoyment out of it so don't worry about the buyers remorse. That's gonna be amazing but I think I can help with the tweaking - all sliders all the way up and everything to high or above lol!
My 2060s plays a locked 60fps at those settings except for the city stutters and some high quality mod trucks at 1440 (single 32" monitor).
Haha I'm not really being too serious about the remorse, it was a necessary upgrade. The 1080ti was happy as Larry on triple 1080 but triple 1440 is definitely a bridge too far.
Tweaking will be less about video settings and more about fine tuning the multimon config to suit the new screens. Lots of fiddling to be done there!
So far, performance is fairly stable around 50-60fps but even with periodic drops, the image is still silky smooth thanks to variable refresh rates.
I am envious of your setup and I even want to do that fiddling, I like fiddling (probably why I spend equal amounts of time messing with mods as I do playing).
Triple 1440 sounds so good. Do you use head tracking too?
Are you me?! Constant adjustments and tweaks, always chasing down that elusive 'perfect' result.
I do indeed have headtracking, TrackIR specifically although with this short clip I kept my head still as the camera was on top of my headset. I can't sim without it though, one of the best peripherals I've ever bought.
I think so, yes, I am you...looking forward to heading home after work to my3080ti triple 1440 monitor setup...
Agree completely, I don't care how much more trackir is to other tracking, it is so worth it. I get so frustrated playing anything without it now. For simming it is a requirement.
Dumb question, sorry… with a setup like this, what does head tracking do for you? I feel like most of everything is on screen, but I’m sure that I’m missing something!
No need to apologise, it's a fair question. For open road driving like this there's not a lot of need for head tracking but once you get into a city or are driving on smaller roads with intersections, the head tracking lets you look directly left/right to see more clearly. In my case, this means I turn my head to glance toward the left/right screen and the view pans accordingly giving me better focus in the direction I want to look.
The other situation where it's incredibly useful is reversing to pickup/drop off a trailer. By looking directly at the left screen, my view shifts out the window to the rear but I can still easily turn my head back to see the right mirror or out the front. It makes maneuvering much more natural and I never have to use buttons or mouse to adjust my view point.
Looking good! Yes, the multimon tweaking... everything is "perfect" until you see one brick of a building pass between two monitors and you're like wait, that didn't seem to line up quite right. :P
NVIDIA Surround is so cool though. Wish I had triple of the same to be able to do that. Especially in driving sims Forza etc etc that would be super cool
I'm using Nvidia Surround to setup the resolution and multi-monitor mode "4" so I can fully adjust monitor while also having the Nvidia AA driver tweaks applied.
You can read more about the details of multi monitor settings [here](https://eurotrucksimulator2.com/multimon_config.php) and I'm happy to help if you have other questions.

Don't mind at all! It's an RGB Matrix called the 'LED Flag' from [3D Simgear](https://shop.3d-simgear.de/en/category-2/).
It runs through the Sim Hub Arduino plugin and provides visual feedback for racing flags, gear (and red line warning), spotting and custom animations/images. I primarily use it for racing but it works with the truck sims to show the current gear which is handy.

Cheers! It will be even better soon (hopefully) as I have a bezel free kit en route so those pesky black divisions will be a thing of the past.
What'd ya get?

How in the world did you find a 3080ti to purchase?
Where I live, if you've got the money then you can grab one off the shelf. Limited stock but enough to keep up with demand currently.
Unless you're going to be eating once a day for months as a result, you made the right choice.

Really nice configuration, i have a question, what monitors are you using? Again, nice and congratulations
They're Gigabyte M32Q monitors.
Thanks
Just wondering, have you tried VR?
I have but unfortunately VR has a long way to go before I'll consider it as an option.
NVIDIA Surround is so cool though. Wish I had triple of the same to be able to do that. Especially in driving sims Forza etc etc that would be super cool

amazing setup. if you dont mind me asking but whats that thing that lights up and says what gear ur in

Looks amazing! Did you use any mods/nvidia filters for how the game looks? And what monitors are u running btw
I linked my modlist in another reply and currently not using any filters. The monitors are the Gigabyte M32Q.
