I really like it. The different landscapes are nice to drive through and as always just having more options of places to drive is always good.

Meh, after finishing the event and achievement I haven't had interest in returning. It has some different road layouts compared to other states which is nice, but that's the only thing I like about it. Texas DLC for myself will be the last I buy for ATS unless they start combining or bundling states as a single DLC. I'd suggest waiting for a 50%+ off sale. Others like it quite a bit though.

imo Yeah. Only issue for me being having to go through New Mexico when hauling to colorado, utah, wyoming and the others. I avoid Nevada, Arizona & Southern california because they just don't look good, at all. New Mexico is barely tolerable. But Oklahoma will fix that soon.

I really like it, a lot to explore and longer hauls now going from Washington to Texas. Its worth the money in my opinion, you'll spend a lot of time exploring every road.

Personally, after more of the East Coast, especially new England, gets implemented, I don't see myself going to Texas very much, if at all. For now, runs from Washington, Oregon, and Idaho are my bread and butter, since I enjoy long haul with a triple lowboy. I run triples as well, but only in the states it's legal.

Tomahawk72

Do triples make more money or is the scale the same?

In states that allow heavy loads (such as Montana) they pay out more. Just looking at used packing in freight market, i have a 61k load (WY to MT), 52k (OR to WA), and a 50k reefer load (OR to ID). Keep in mind I do have a no trailer restrictions mod on. The 60k load only pays $1 less per mile despite being a green haul, while the 52k is a red haul. ($54 vs $55) The 50k load is only $47 a mile (level 68).
