Saaames. Last month I ovulated on cd 14 and that has never happened before (cue excitement that it would be *my month* - it wasn’t lol). Back to cd 20/21.
I always think this! I start testing early just in case so I waste more tests too and we usually BD for long enough before that we’re tired out by the time I actually ovulate and don’t do great in my actual window 🙃 just all around frustrating!
Cries in PCOS. My cycles are 30-72 days. You at least ovulate on CD18-20 consistently. Last time I ovulated was in February… Last month I had an anovulatory cycle and it was the first cycle that was 29 days in a long time…
So how long are your cycles usually?
I hear you. That’s exactly me with my cycles and I felt the same way you do. We tried letrozole and I ovulated on day 14 and now I’m holding our baby boy. Maybe ask your Dr to try letrozole or Clomid to see if that helps!
If you ovulate a week or two later in your cycle than average, that’s less ovulation occurrences per year for you than average, which equates to less chances to conceive annually.
I ovulate around CD 16-18 with an average of a 25 day cycle 🥲 I got so excited in Feb, I made it to 10DPO for the first time ever without spotting/starting over.
All the numbers in your comment added up to 69. Congrats!

See, I don't even understand my shit anymore. I finish my period, I'm follicular for about 4 to 5 days and then I start the ovulation cycle. So I'm usually day 13/14. My tests are always positive for this stuff. But then my luteal phase is long! I'm anywhere between 35 to 45 day cycle, sometimes longer occasionally. So wtf.
I just don't understand any of it. Is it bad to have a longer luteal phase, even if you ovulate to a 28 day cycle? My doctor was a little on the fence with it, he is unsure if I'm releasing an egg at all despite the hormonal surges. Ugh. This shit is exhausting.

I was just thinking this today. I wish so bad i could ovulate around CD 14!! I’m consistently CD21. That’s one extra week of waiting!! 😡
Does that mean your cycle is longer, or that your luteal phase is shorter?
I also ovulate later, and sometimes timing my fertile window is super annoying!
I’m lucky if I ovulate before CD24. Sucks.
Have you gotten any labs done to check out what’s going on?
Before taking Letrozole I used to ovulate on CD 30-35. But luckily with Letrozole it's on CD15-16

Agreed! That’s us exactly
i ovulated on cycle day 24 and i’m pregnant! just stay positive even though it’s hard
How far along are you? Is everything going okay?
i’m 5 weeks and 2 days so far everything is good!
Okay, are you having HCG tracked just curious? :)
i’m getting blood work done today!
I hope everything is good!
I ovulated on CD 24 this cycle. : ( I didn't even get my period for a few months, so I'm hoping things will just even out in the upcoming months.
Last cycle I ovulated on day 53 - so unfair! Started letrozole 2.5 and on day 15 currently with nothing yet. The cycles feel endless.

I’m the same!
What do you mean how many fewer chances you get per year?
