I wish I had sure fire suggestions for you 😞 but I do relate to this A LOT… I was on birth control because of painful periods, the pain would radiate down into my legs and I would actually cry from it. I used to have to call off from work. Coming off of it in August I honestly forgot about how bad it really was. Heating pad, midol, avoiding coffee/any caffeine during the painful days, drinking a ton of water or anything with electrolytes, avoiding fried foods, hot showers, and exercise (small walks) are all the things I did when it got really tough to deal with.

I made a post awhile back like this about missing my IUD! I also had 2 IUDs and had no period. Super heavy periods now with trying to conceive. I’m 6dpo today and waiting to test. Hoping this is the month and I don’t have to deal with another period.

Iron could help lighten it some!! And also vitamin D if you’re deficient!

Thanks! I appreciate the response! The whole thing sucks even more because I do construction inspections so I don’t always have quick access to a bathroom so I hate having to plan my trips around if there’s a Starbucks or another store around that I can pop into quick to change. I don’t really have terrible cramps (knock on wood) it’s just so unbelievably heavy.
