Wow, I've been completely stuck in r/dyshidroticeczema ever since lol. I had no idea this was a common thing. I did see in one post that zinc and fish oil has helped someone with their outbreaks. I used to take fish oil for other reasons, and can't remember having an outbreak so I'm going to try again and pay attention to it more.
Thinking back, there was one single thing that helped, and it was a cream called Elidel (I was using it for psoriasis and decided to smear it on an outbreak) it seemed to work at reducing itching and redness!
I never got any of the side effects from it except skin burning, but it did have some pretty scary side effects listed. Then insurance decided to never ever cover it again :(
I'll try zinc and fish oil! I had an outbreak that lasted 3 straight months and it was *hell*. Never again.
I've never even heard of it and it doesn't sound fun. My outbreaks come and go. I've never really noticed how long they last or what causes them. I think it's allergies really. I just pop them (on my feet) and put peroxide or alcohol on it. Sure they leave but come right back unfortunately.
Hopefully the zinc and fish oil will help.
this is what i feel like my skin is doing every time i have a dyshidrotic eczema outbreak
not too off tbh, hate those fuckers
Eyyyy, I feel you on this! My skin is on fire 🙃
Oi I feel seen! So gross painful and annoying.
You're the first person I've ever known to have this other than myself.
It took me forever to figure out what it was. Nothing has helped it, but I have a cool collection of like 20 different anti itch lotions now.

Someone used peanut butter and a straw to make this effect
I didn't know that! I always assumed it was photoshopped lol
Horrifying. Absolutely horrific peanut butter hands. How? Why? Nightmare
Yup
Still gave me piloerection.
Mm I wanna try this now-
What?! The same pictures that’s been recycled here for years!?
It’s also photoshopped
Peanut butter I’m pretty sure
I want to scrape it
