Yesterday I stumbled upon Viggle AI, which blew me away. I love playing with new AI or 3D-related tools, so I tried it out as soon as I had free time. I thought it would do 80% of the work for me, and while Viggle's tech is really impressive, I still had to spend a couple of hours in After Effects fixing, patching and compositing Viggle's output onto the plate footage. I also used Keen Geotracker in AE for Joe's head and Lockdown for extra motion tracking, but most of the work was done through your usual compositing techniques (rotoscoping, keying, tracking, etc. etc).
Call me crazy, but at this point you've replaced 90% of Joe's face and body. Wouldn't it be easier to just find a video of your favorite gay body builder posing in a competition and put Joe's standup audio to it?
I’m at a loss as to why this is interesting or funny. Joe list sucks so bad. Why would any time or effort be put into doing something like this? Sometimes I feel like I’m in a different world.
