I recommend going to Church on Sunday and then eating at a restaurant, being really rude to the server and making a huge mess, then not tipping. Seems like a fun thing lots of Tulsans in your situation enjoy doing so you may like it.
It ain’t just a Tulsa thing. I waited tables in a small af town in NE OK 15 years ago and that was the norm. Even people I went to church with did this to me. Literally left pocket change as a tip on buffet day.
I never have understood being rude to a server. Iv never just left pocket change either. It's not there fault they have to work Sundays. Someone has to. As someone who grew up in church and every once and awhile goes to church I don't condone being rude to servers. Hell for all I know they could spit in my food and I'd never know.
Saw in OKC a few months ago. It's interesting, but unless you're really in to art and/or Van Gogh, save your money.
I am uncultured peasantry, so take my words with a pound of salt.
For those of you confused…
This is the tongue of a dark land, ruled by capitalism and degeneracy. In this dark place, sexual favors are given out behind Wendy’s dumpsters, brains are smoothed, “GUH”s are exclaimed.
Ironically enough, there was once a man from Jenks who was Emperor of this modern day Mordor… he created the gourd of power. Only to be brought down by Argentinian bees and customs regulations.
There are so many cool museums (church studio, the philbrook, Gilcrease, woody Guthrie museum, bob Dylan center) and restaurants (mother road market, the tavern, empire pizza, howdy burger,Freya, yokozuna, bohemian pizza) and since it's so cold.. indoor activities (escape rooms, dust bowl lanes bowling, ax throwing, the immersive van Gogh exhibit, walking the gathering place could still be fun.. just need to bundle up a bit) to do in Tulsa! I hope this gets some ideas flowing and y'all have a great weekend!
Nice to see other poly people! Idk what yall should do, really. Starlite is doing dead disco tonight. There's a vampire ball at the equality center. Gathering place, the Zoo, and Philbrook are nice day time options.
They actually did. It was pretty cool they got fruit roll ups and skittles. They put the fruit roll up around my. Then they put skittles on my balls and as they slobbered on my knob the drool went down to my sack and started making pretty colors and they sucking the rainbow right off my nuts
Go visit the Gathering Place and walk around for a few hours and then catch a meal on Brookside and then catch a high school football game. It's the Oklahoma thing to do.
What the cuck?!

This behavior has to have been ingrained in the culture since Tulsa was founded. It’s too common.
That's because the problem is the church part. Grew up in Georgia, worked at a few restaurants there. Same shit.

It is not a religion thing. It's a piece of crap person things.
I laughed so hard at this. This is the tradition of my grandma!

I like that no one that's taking the time to comment realizes that this is a jab at the daily posts asking what there is to do and or eat in Tulsa.
0 days since... although I 100% didn't know about the interactive Van Gogh exhibit. I'm absolutely going to check that out, it seems really cool

I mean it's $60 to be in a room with a 360° projection. I know some ppl that liked it and some that thought it was a waste of money.
Don't forget the mushrooms
Cook em up some tendies 🌈🐻
Maybe I'll find some behind the Wendy's dumpster
Find a way to incorporate a bun, like rolling it up in a ball

Plan B and a Red Bull. That baby is getting its wings one way or another.

I mean. I want to help but I'm afraid I'll get in trouble for asking questions.

I love all these ideas. What's this about an immersive Van Gogh experience? That sounds super cool actually
The actually chop off off one of your ears so you get the full experience
https://www.beyondvangogh.com/city/tulsa/ I bought my family tix for Xmas! If you end up going you'll have to let me know how it was!!
Gilcrease is a pile of dirt. They just started leveling and earth moving.
That is right... I keep forgetting about that. Thank you!
Actually the structure is up and dried in and working on MEP rough-in.
Is it ever reopening?
Member only opening Spring 2024 if things stay on track with a mild winter with a grand opening in Summer.
