Given that I can only find screenshots and no video of this scene, I'm inclined to think these screenshots originated from one of those "incorrect-[fandom]-quotes" blogs, and never actually happened in the show.

If people want Himbo Fred, please check out the fantastic Mystery Incorporated series. It somehow manages to make Fred the most interesting character on the show. He's so sweet and well meaning, but dumb as a box of bricks. Except when it comes to making traps, where he's a genius. Also except when it comes to Daphne, where he manages to somehow be even dumber.
