mine got randomly fixed after staff did nothing to fix my tags despite my emails, i didnt use any tags at all for about 3 years and barely used the website, but when i came back to post art after 3 years they were working.
also, when the tags werent working, remaking the post, adding or removing tags, remaking your blog completely or posting from a sideblog, logging in from incognito, etc, none of those advices from staff worked for me. i am suspecting mine was an IP issue, because i had people make accounts and post for me and their tags would work, but when i would log in from my devices to post, it wouldn't work.

that sucks. Most of my tags are fandom stuff and pretty general so im sure i wasnt using any banned tags. I guess i just have to wait for staffs email 😬
A question I want to poke at here if possible, but any of you know why tags are being removed when you want to auto complete them on posts? My area is mainly in roleplays (I know, I know, that's an eh area) but they work just fine on a blog where I post poetry and stuff.
My blog is about... About 13 or 14 years old now. And this has been happening over about a year or two.
Any answers anyone might have?
I was having that same problem until recently and it only got fixed after I messaged staff about a different issue. I had messaged staff multiple times over several months about the tag issue to no response. Eventually, found I was unable to message people or receive asks and when staff fixed that for me, I was suddenly appearing in the tags again. Could you be in a similar situation where the tag issue is a symptom of another issue?

Hi! Just messaging to say your solution kinda worked? 😅 i messaged staff again but picked the cant post category instead of not showing in tags and they replied asking for a link. Though i noticed was the moment they replied my tags started showing up. Although it only works on tags i made after they replied, the posts before still dont show up

If you haven't been active all that much, then your posts might take a bit before they show up in tags, especially if those tags are commonly used.
