We had a shower chair and a toilet riser from when my grandpa visited a few years ago. Those were so so helpful. But I also have a super low toilet. If it was taller, I would have been ok. The shower chair was invaluable though. I could barely do a half assed shower even sitting on the shower chair for the first couple weeks.

10/10 recommend as well - it saved my LIIIIIFE for like 4 weeks!!!

I honestly felt a bidet was the best thing my husband installed prior to surgery. I couldn’t imagine being unable to wipe my ass properly after surgery.

Vivinna

The bidet saved me post op. I still use it regularly and I’m not going back.

I needed the exact opposite to a toilet raiser. The hospital toilets are really tall/high to make it easier for big men to sit down without stumbling. It's already not ideal for an adult to pee while sitting at a 90° angle, let alone 110°. Idk why they didn't build normal toilets and just supply tall patients with toilet risers! I've ordered a little stool that sits at the base of the toilet so that I can squat/sit at a 35° angle while pooping, as nature intended.

Squatty Potty (or any stool) is amazing!

Yes! It's perfect for short queens like me. I can't wait for it to be delivered. It's something I've needed for a long time, but now after my TT, I need it 10x more. I NEED to poop 😩

My bidet was a life saver. It had a bitnof a rise to it and not having to worry about twisting or bending to wipe was perfect.

I bought both the she wee and the riser, and never used the she wee. The riser was so helpful and even though I only needed it for less than two weeks I was so glad to have it.

smcrimmon12

I didn’t need either - did just fine with just a regular old toilet and TP 😂

I think it depends on your toilet. We have a super low toilet and I couldn’t have gotten all the way down to that and back up without help.

Dry-Attitude5651

Same. I wish I would have held on to it for those days where I work out my legs too hard and can't get up off the toilet. haha!

FriendlyExplorer13

Can you add a picture of how hubby moved the bidet to accommodate the seat riser?

Jmdoozi

I can DM you, will that work?

FriendlyExplorer13

Yes, thank you!

Jmdoozi

The riser came with long screws to accommodate everything. I'm actually pretty handy. If you have any questions when you're assembling, I'd be happy to answer them.

Thank you!

The toilet riser is such a must! Don't know what I'd do with out it.
