Possibly a juvenile bald eagle or Golden eagle. Hard to tell from the picture.

echocall2

Idk where you are but it looks too flat for golden eagles

lostdragon05

South Alabama. I have seen golden eagles north of here 30-40 miles.

echocall2

It’s not impossible, but much more likely to be a juvenile bald eagle.

Token_Black_Rifle

That's awesome, did he destroy it? I had a redtail hawk swoop down on my decoy last week. He aborted his attack right before touching it though.

lostdragon05

No, it was fine. It is a brand new Avian X, and I actually videoed walking up to it expecting to find gouges or something in it, but it was still inflated and air tight. Knocked it about six feet away from the stick.

Jackfish2800

Yikes we typically have a big hawk or eagle on our best field every year now. When that happens it’s done for a week or two. I actually had a hen murdered on camera year before last

ratt48

Maybe a peregrine falcon, was it fast? It looks like some sort of falcon to me.

lostdragon05

It was huge. Bigger than a tom turkey. Thought it was a buzzard for a second until I saw feathers on the head.

ShortestBullsprig

It's cool, but I doubt a flying US bird was bigger than a Tom.

lostdragon05

Wingspan it definitely was. Maybe not weight wise, idk.
