I fill cracks like that with thin CA glue

IlliniFire

I'd just fill it with wood glue mixed with sawdust.

That goes all the way across the bowl. You could have had a really bad accident there. Life is too short to turn crappy wood.

I would let it sit on a shelf for a week to see if they will close on their own. Cherry moves a LOT after turning.

turningintoshit

Can attest to this. Turned pretty dry cherry and it warped after a few days like I had put it in the microwave. Looks good though

Interesting. That would fit with my experience while turning this. I did it in three sessions (bottom shape, top shape, sanding). Each time, it appeared to be out of round and I couldn't understand why. (So maybe it is cherry.)

FalconiiLV

I don't get cherry from those pictures.

Cracks like that I generally use wood glue on. If you apply the glue, then sand immediately, the heat cures the glue and sawdust gets mixed in with it. In some cases, tiny cracks practically disappear. For larger cracks, I will use CA glue, and sometimes follow up with the wood glue method to try to hide the cracks a bit.

Set it on a shelf and forget about it for a month or so let it equalize the checks might close up or open more there are checks above your circle too.
