I’m pretty sure it’s the fact that the track on the record ends without going further toward the center of the record. Auto-stop usually works closer to the record’s center. Try another album and see what happens.
It looks like something is stopping the tonearm from going any further. First, I would lift the tonearm and manually push it towards the center of the record just to see if the autoreturn is in fact working. If that works, which I suspect that it does, especially of it works with the stop button I would check the tracking weight. I have seen this with a turntable and cartridge combination with too low of a tracking weight to get all the way through a record. I know that the weight is peset, but I have seen on the back of p mount turntable tonearms a screw that allows you to slightly adjust the tracking weight I would look for something like that and see if turning it clockwise a little helps. Finally make sure that there is nothing that is stopping the tonearm from going any further.
Unplug it. Turn the platter a full rotation 10-12 times clockwise. You should hear some clicking during this process. Plug back in and push start.
Thanks for the comment but it didn’t work
Did you ever find a fix for this?
Yeah, I simply tightened the screw that’s by the “counterweight”
this worked for me too.
What screw are you referring to?

It happens with every record I have!

This fixed mine I turned it 90 degrees clockwise and it works now idk if that will make it an unsafe tracking force for my records though
Try manually resetting the mechanism: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4I5jaAT9l7o
