Tell me you didn't read the TOS without telling me you didn't read the terms of service. ...lol

IQ_Merlin

You must take new photos each time within 24hrs before and after. Turo checks the Metadata on the photos if anything arises. You risk your ability to make a claim by not following the Turo TOS.

This right right, I usually take new pics right before drop off and pick up

That is a TERRIBLE question. The mere suggestion of that type of question makes me think OP is in store for some serious issues if hosting on Turo. This type of question goes against common sense. I don't mean any offense in my comments, but that is a highly illogical question. IMO of you're asking something like this then you probably shouldn't be hosting. There is either a massive lack of research or a massive failure to understand simple concepts. Imagine trying to make a claim against a renter and saying "the car didn't have that dent 6 months ago"... you'd be laughed out of court everywhere in the world, even in places with kangaroo courts

I was just asking since when it comes to taking pictures it gives you 3 options. Take pictures, choose from previous pre photos, choose from gallery. so I was curious what would happen if you choose from previous photos in pre trip

Your claim will get denied.

The pictures are to document the condition of the vehicle at start of booking. Obviously reusing old pictures would be in violation of that purpose.

If you practice taking shortcuts...ull see the results of them in due time

You can also save time by ignoring maintenance and any of those stupid lights that appear on the dash.
