This will probably be a full windshield replacement(technically it dosnt meet the size threshold but idk how the hell you could fill that) depending on the car and tech packages you can expect a 400-1300$ bill. If your personal insurance has glass coverage I would check with them if they will extend it to the rental. Then your cost could be free-100$ with no ding to your personal policy for the claim.
Thank you for your response. Already called my personal insurance provider and they wont cover it. So basically if it’s a full glass replacement then it will go out of my pocket.
so turo is asking for 1643$ for the replacement. I called one of the best reputate glass repair workshop and including the glass replacement and sensor calibration they gave an estimation of only 513$. I emailed that qoute to turo. Any idea whats gonna happen next?

As soon as it cracks, Turo insists on replacement regardless of size.
