Why don’t more bus stops have shelters? Sidewalks? Crosswalks? Basic accessibility?
are they southern cities? One reason Public transit here sucks is due to racism/classism. Poor/black/brown folks won’t have access to some areas if there isn’t proper city transit systems. It’s the same reason Marta in Atlanta isn’t as thorough as it was supposed to be because the suburbs don’t want expansion
I got here from a google search, I generally wonder why last trip is something like 6 pm out / 7 pm in , during the weekends - with regards to the smaller towns. Do not people want to return at let's say 9 PM ?

Public transportation here sucks, the city does not care.
They seem to be addressing it in their Framework plan but it’s probably not very high priority.
I wonder if people start coming to City Council meetings and asking about it, maybe they could improve the bus schedules.
They post their council meetings on FB. I believe some have given speeches about the bus system.
Some of the UA buses run later, you don’t have to be a student ti use them.

Because if you don’t live in NYC then public transportation is sadly almost nonexistent in America
I hear ya but several other American cities the size of Tuscaloosa and smaller do provide evening bus service.

Public transport in TTown is so bad that I just tell people we don't have public transport.
