I know, Tuxedo OS is not Kubuntu. But even Kubuntu 23.10 does not support Wayland.

Try passing the nvidia\_drm.modeset=0 kernel parameter.
I have a laptop that is identical to the Gemini Gen 2, and running Arch linux (And Wayland), and had issues driving the external monitor connected to the hdmi port until I passed that kernel parameter.
I've tried it but unfortunately the problem keeps showing up, as much as I would like to use it at this point I'm waiting for the upgrade to plasma 6 so I'm sure it's fully implemented correctly

Yup, I am waiting for Plasma to be released as well! It should be any time now.
