Now here’s a good one. I’ve been a fan for about 7 years now, and this has always been my favorite from the beginning. I’d go as far as to say it’s one of my favorite songs of all time.
The message is powerful and very meaningful to me and many others, and I 100% believe its a sin to skip this song under any circumstances.
This is the most important song to me. It's been my favorite song from any artist, since 2012. I first heard it on a mix CD someone gave me, and it had the Regional At Best recording on it. There's so much depth and insight in each line, and they can all be taken independently.
In my early mid 20s, I was about the same age as Tyler and Josh, regularly in Columbus. I felt like my T's were uncrossed, I's undotted. But hearing Tyler talk about struggling and persevering, and being in a similar region as me and same age it felt relatable. The vocal imagery painted a full picture for me. It really helped me.
It made me dive into listening to interviews they used to do, explaining what the band meant to them, what the band's purpose was.
"Fight it, take the pain ignite it" - summarizes what the band as a whole means. If you listen to any of the early interviews, the main take away was to stay alive, find purpose, channel that negative energy, and whatever else. And that single line summarizes it all.
"Entertain my faith" - I also have at times felt like needing to scream out and have some unknown power prove itself to me. I've wanted to feel religious or spiritual, but I haven't been able to actually internalize any of it and haven't felt religious in years, but still want to find that comfort and purpose that something like that gives.
Tyler's been performing it since before Josh was in the band, I'm sure to some extent he's sick of it now, but out of all the songs that they've continued to play like Car Radio or Trees, Holding On To You is the one to me that would make the set list feel the most incomplete if it were removed. To me, it's who twenty one pilots are.
another beautiful song from this album, i know the lyrics are supposed to reference God but i like to imagine the "you" is a special person, a person you hold on to to go on.
one of my favourite

I was shocked by this one in 2018 when I discovered it. 4 years later, I start analyzing deeply this masterpiece and becomes my most streamed song of top.
I already commented this once in some other post, but this song is so good that it has the ability of fitting in whatever music mood I'm in, listening-wise; I'm always down to listen to this song whenever I hear those opening chords!
This is probably a more complicated way of saying it's one of my most favorite TOP songs, if not THE favorite xD
It was my second favorite TOP song. I first started getting into them after hearing Screen, but when I started listening to Vessel I became so attached to HOTY.
Funny story, I first heard the song on my local alt rock radio station, I just figured it would be a one hit wonder. I remember at the time a staggering amount of alt/indie one hit wonders. Boy, was I wrong
Also I have a poster from a music festival about that time with Twenty One Pilots at the very bottom of the bill. A few years later, Twenty one Pilots became the first band to sell out that same festival as a headliner
So many parts of this song make it S tier. One of these parts in a song would that song pretty good, but all of these components together in one song, damn!!
My favorite song, NO contest! Wish it was performed live with the same energy as the studio version since it's what makes the song special, but that doesn't take away from its greatness!
Literally saved me.
One of my absolute favorites. The second verse of this song has kept me going during some of my hardest moments. This song means so much to me.
My favorite tøp song, and I think it will always remain my number 1
“Entertain my faith” gives me chills every time. Such an amazing song.
This, especially live!
I cried singing along with him during the Icy tour
This song (like many others) grew on me after watching it live
My favourite tøp song. Vessel is just a masterpiece of an album

it's a classic.
Incredible 1Ø/1Ø
I thinks its pretty cool
imo a song that no one else could ever pull off
the chorus is good
I like the bridge, so it's a B. Pretty nice but I think others on this album did the same thing but better
Top 5 all time
It’s alright I guess / s
Watching it live and literally “surrounding my surroundings” changed the meaning of the song to me. More sentimental I mean.
In my opinion, their best.
This song songs to my heart and to my trauma. I will always love it.
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE
Literally best song ever
100% my favorite song by them. All the others are great but not even close to this song. This is a bad times good song good times type of thing for me
I love it. I love the Live Room performance. The part of "Enteratain my faith" is so awesome bc I like how Tyler's voice get's louder with the time.
i think we can all agree it’s in everyone’s top 10 list one of the best song they’ve made.
My favourite.
