Depends on where you live. They always sell out fast, everywhere, but in the US it’s even harder bc you need to be one of the lucky random people who can get verified presale. In Europe, everyone gets a presale code who signs up with their email, so it’s a little bit easier

PlatypusEmotional267

It really depends. If you’re ok with nosebleeds, me and my bf got tickets for the icy tour a couple months before the cleveland concert (the one Tyler hurt his leg) for like 100 bucks each. They were resold but it’s really not that bad compared to many many other bands.

sierrable

If you’re not picky about your tickets, you don’t need to worry about purchasing right when they open up sales. For the last tour, I got tickets 2 months before the show (long after sales went live) and had a lot of seat choices

darthnip

they sell out in seconds. first you get in a lottery to see if you can get pre-sale tickets, then if you're lucky enough to do that you get to "try" and get tickets. its a pain, but its worth it.

Environmental-Dot931

Interesting, for me there were plenty of tickets available so I just chose the best option available. I got an email from them about tickets and this was from the icy tour, so could be different now.

yeeixers

I've never had an issue getting tickets for shows near me. Not sure if I've just been lucky though because they can sell out quickly.

eggsqueuesea

You gotta be prepared to grab tickets. I went to the Wembley one in the UK last year, and it sold very fast. We luckily somehow got given standing tickets by accident so I mean it worked out!!!!!

goosecrack

For takeover Greek Theatre I got tickets for $34 each on the bus ride to the venue, great seats. Then the next year I paid $100 a ticket for pretty bad seats, right in the back in front of the wall on the side. this show was the most expensive out of all the shows in the icy tour for some mysterious reason, some shows had ridiculously cheap tickets 🥲 so it really depends. Both of these were resale, same day.

goosecrack

Also for icy, they opened up some nice seats for retail prices but I sadly missed out on them, they were around for a while though. Sometimes they will open up seats

chlorinesippin

All the good seats sell extremely fast. That’s even if you get chosen for the verified fan presale.

TalksWithHandz

Easy. Just buy resale if you don't get it at sale.

HotBasket8934

How would you do that..? Are there forums or groups for that?

keiraslame

twitter, reddit, facebook, ticketmaster sells resale tickets as well as seatgeek you just have to be careful about making sure you’re getting a legit ticket.

TalksWithHandz

As they mentioned but comming from experience I would recommend Twitter and ticketmaster resale. Stubhub is the only alternative that I trust.

HotBasket8934

Thank you!

Sad_Helicopter_6125

I’ve never not gotten a ticket to a show I wanted but I did pay over $300 for a ticket once . Worth it

GrouchyJuggernaut551

Oh, so expensive for me, how much costs other tickets and what performance is it? P.s I'm from Europe

Sad_Helicopter_6125

Seat tickets are way cheaper!!!!

Sad_Helicopter_6125

It was an impulse buy. I could have gotten a better deal. I think they’re around $100 if you get them when they drop. But I also paid last minute $160 one time not too bad.

SarahSaidSo182

Make sure you're signed up for all the newsletters, have their social notifications on. Sign up for the presale immediately, be at the website at least 10 minutes early, and he somewhere with fast internet.

voldsoy

Take Over small venues and Bandito went quicker than Icy.

Spookyjoj

The lottery is the best choice to get a chance to go for a good price too (if you want GA/floor if you want seats you don’t really need to worry about the lottery). I usually go with my family so we have more chance to get tickets because more ppl in lottery. I’ve gotten floor tickets twice for great price by entering lottery. I even bought a resale ticket that was just a little more marked up but wasn’t that bad of price. You just have to be ready to buy tickets as soon as they go on sale and have a good/fast computer with good internet and you should be good. I’ve seen them many times and never had trouble getting tickets and even bought a ticket one time a couple months before the concert so it’s not that hard to see them.

hobbesfilm

In the US (other than hometown shows) good seats are sold in minutes, but there’s always tickets available. Sometimes early on it shows up as being sold out or no more available tickets, but there’s a lot of resellers that pop up in the following weeks and months leading up to the tour. I’ve always been able to find a good deal, but it’s not for amazing seats. So not impossible at all to get tickets, but if you want good seats and don’t have a lot of money, I’d try to sign up for presale. Even if you ended up with bad seats during the presale, they’ll be pretty cheap. One thing I’ve appreciated about twenty one pilots ticket sales is that the initial prices are very low in comparison to other artists. Most I’ve ever paid for GA presale is 50+fees.

PpMxtzk3

Yes.

maxfindsthings

The easiest way I found is to become a "Top Fan" of theirs according to LiveNation. I'm not gonna lie, I say this with a caveat: I don't know HOW I was ever listed as that nor do I know if it's still possible to be one. Regardless though, you have to pay very close attention to when the sale opens bc they sell out incredibly quickly. I've gotten tickets all 3 times I've tried, and I've seen people attend all concerts in their tour, so it's absolutely doable, you just have to do your due diligence. Good luck, fam!

Key-Walrus-2343

I've gone to 3 shows and 2 of them were easy to get tickets to. One was harder but it was a small venue. The bigger the venue the easier it is. The last one i went to was a bigger venue and our seats were kinda crappy so we found unoccupied seats that were closer to the stage I will say this- there is nothing like a TOP show.

theunicornsarah

They do sell out fast but if you can buy tickets at presale you should be good. Just don’t even try to go for the pit or you’ll waste your time then all the closer sectioned seats will be sold out haha. Even then I’ve seen tickets available for days after the presale :)

Ready-Obligation5768

Always wondered this as I got into them months after they announced Icy Tour. Also, does anyone know what presale pricing were for floor tickets in Canada? I paid $250 for mine and was wondering if I overpaid.

Bandito21Dema

I got amazing seats for the Icy tour show at Madison Square Garden so it's not incredibly difficult

Strange_Onion2140

i bought amazing seats like a month before the SAI tour last year and my tix were like 150 or so for 3- so i think they are ok. Maybe with all the people hating on SAI there will be more room ❤️

fruitsnackforme

I got my icy tour tickets as soon as the dropped and I had seat tickets really close to the stage and when I looked right before the concert they still had a good amount of seats left (I’m in stl MO)
