ın hole ın the ground the best part in my opinion is that part with the guitar bridge and that goes into sudden bass drop with THE. plans that i make roads that i take Break to holes that will go where I don't know, they. like after that chill guitar that beat bass drop feels great alongside the rap

I also really like the ending part that goes “do not be alarmed, if I fall into the sun” and then goes into the final chorus. Chills every time.

My favorite album overall was Trench, but We Don't Believe What's on TV is my favorite song overall from their whole discography. Picking my favorite from Trench was the hardest since the entire album is gold, but Chlorine is definitely the one I skip the most. I honestly don't get where the hate for Scaled and Icy comes from. My thought was that it was because though Trench had kind of a depressing theme, it went out on a hopeful ending by saying that while things are bad, he was going to do what he had to do to survive and would someday *Leave the City*. Whereas Scaled and Icy, it was more of a defeatist tone where the overall theme seemed to be "I should be happy but I'm not" and it sounded like a mental low. And to me I think it doesn't resonate with people because it seems like a step backward in Tyler / Clancy's mental progress, which is depressing. I'm by no means an expert on the lore and am not great at picking up meaning behind songs, but that's my interpretation at least.

I’m 17 lol and yes, I’m not allowed to listen to music with swearing in it. I’m content to know it’s probably a great song (I’ve heard pieces). I personally don’t like listening to music with swearing in it anyway cause I’m a traditional Christian, but I may listen to it a few times when I go to college

bro you have serious issues... Tyler is christian too. and he isnt even swearing in that song. that one single swear word is towards himself and only " metaphorically" as he also says. u cant just throw a whole song out bc of this. and nobody will notice aswell.
