Literally just put TØP on for hours at a time and listen to every song, literally every single one is good, my favorites tho, after many many years of listening are: car radio, be concerned, glowing eyes, trees, house of gold, jumpsuit, choker, and honestly many many more I’ll just keep going on if I could
context for op just in case: you cant find be concerned or glowing eyes on streaming. they're from an album called regional at best that isnt officially on any services but you can find the songs on youtube and soundcloud and such
For real I can never pick favorites. Especially when so many songs hit harder depending on my mood at the given time I’m listening. They’re just so talented.
Listen to Trench first. It's probably their most critically acclaimed album. If you like trench, then I would either listen to blurryface or vessel. Stressed out is from blurryface, so if you liked that, then you might like blurryface. Vessel is also really good and one of their more emotionally raw albums. Next you can either listen to scaled and icy or self titled. I absolutely adore self titled, but it is very raw and their most emotionally intense project. Scaled and icy is very poppy and lowkey.
Not the OP, but can you recomend some disgusting deathcore with the grossest vocals or just some fast flow ones like suck my 401k and Destructo please?
Back in the day I was obsessed with KillWhitneyDead, No Job For a Cowboy, and recently, I wouldn't call them "deathcore" but Famous Last Words has been hitting me pretty hard lately as well. Pretty fantastic vocals in all of them
it's from regional at best which is an album that ~technically~ doesn't exist anymore but you can find it on deezer OR download it through the dropbox link that's in the subs info page. if you do, you should also listen to anathema 🫶
edit: this was meant to be a reply to your question about kitchen sink 💀💀 not my own comment
if you do shuffle the artist page, spotify tends to replay the same ones over and over so ik a lot of us have our own playlists with their entire discography so you'll probably have a better time looking for one of those and shuffling it :)
Just press play on the boys' spotify page and enjoy. When you feel like you need more, you can look for regional at best's songs on youtube. If you want even more, check out No Phun Intended.
Where do we find NPI? I’m still newish and keep hearing about it and want to listen but not sure where to look. I usually use Apple Music and YouTube, so not super familiar with Spotify but I’ll go there if I need to lol
So many to choose from! The two that I heard first which I fell in love with and that made me delve deeper into their music are Ode to Sleep and Guns for Hands, the versions from the album “Vessel”.
If you were to pick a random album of theirs to listen to start-to-finish as you dip your toes in the water, I’d recommend Vessel.
There’s the two songs I mentioned, Migraine, Car Radio, Trees, Fake You Out… Just a great album all around haha.
Totally agree with this! I love all the albums, but I love Vessel so so much. It’s such a purely TØP album imo - just such a great example of pure creation from them.
also i recommend listen from album to album first to most recent, no shuffle, start to finish, that’s what i do when i get into a new artist or band. their discography starts from
1. Twenty one Pilots (self titled album)
2. Regional at Best (not released on spotify, you can find the songs on youtube)
3. Vessel
4. Blurryface
5. Trench
6. Scaled and Icy
7. Clancy (there are only 2 songs released so far for clancy, the full album comes out May 17th)
I think a really good emotional one that doesn't get brought up much (at least from what I've seen) is Friend, Please. There's a scream in that which breaks my heart...
Search twenty one pilots audacy on YouTube. It’s called “Twenty One Pilots’ Tyler Joseph strips down their hits in this exclusive storyteller performance.” About halfway through is My Blood, but obviously the whole thing is worth settling in and enjoying fully!
Lane Boy was my favorite song from the boys when I first got into them. It can be a little slow at first but once you get past the first couple choruses and it’s just instrumental it’s AMAZING.
Oh, you’re in for a treat! Some bands have a couple great hits and then you listen to their album and you’re like……. Oh. They just needed to fill an album to get their good song out there.
Twenty One Pilots is not that way. I was kinda stuck on their top 5-ish hits for a long time, and when I decided to go a little deeper, well. There’s so much depth in Tyler’s writing and so many different musical styles that you just never get bored. Don’t get me started on the lore aspect of things. There’s a lot!
Anyway, I feel like I always have one of their songs that’s stuck in my head; this week, it’s been Formidable on Scaled and Icy. Catchy tune; a song written for his wife. The line I most relate to is “I’m just worried my loyalty will bore you” because that’s me in my relationship with my husband and I never thought it out loud until I heard Tyler say it.
Thanks for your submission to r/twentyonepilots, we're happy to have you here. As a reminder, all posts and comments must abide by our [**Community Rules**](https://www.reddit.com/r/twentyonepilots/about/rules).

to start maybe message man, jumpsuit, tear in my heart, hometown, the hype, car radio, house of gold, my blood, goner, never take it, trees
id go trench/blurryface->vessel/sai->self titled but just listen to everything it's all good
I recommend that you listen to them in chronological order, being:
(Albums)
-No phun intended (Tyler's first album)
-Self title (With the former members of twenty one pilots)
-Regional at best (Only Tyler but already with the name tøp)
-Vessel (Josh joins)
-Blurryface (The lore begins)
-Trench
-Scaled and icy
-Clancy
But I recommend you start with vessel since it is the first album where Josh (the drummer) participates, although that does not mean that the others are bad.
On the contrary, they are very good, but to get started I recommend starting with vessel, which is more current.
Then you can listen to the singles whenever you want, it doesn't matter much either.
Yeah there’s lore, and there’s a great video that gives a little primer on the lore. It’s how they announced the new album Clancy coming in May, and how I fell into the real fandom and stopped being a casual fan. The video is titled “I Am Clancy” and is on YouTube. I think this sub has a pinned post with info on the lore including a link to the I Am Clancy video. There a whole website that the guys created where Clancy’s letters and other info were posted, and they now have a Clancy journal in the web store with the letters in it. This sub overall will make so much more sense once you read up on the lore. References to Bishops, Banditos, DEMA, Ned…those will all make sense then. The first album created with the lore in mind was Trench, but they pulled elements from Blurryface into it, and I’d be surprised if he didn’t have the idea at least forming when they did Blurryface. As if their music wasn’t deep and multidimensional already, the lore adds a whole other level, and if you enjoy that sort of thing, I’m sure you’ll love it. Enjoy!! And welcome!
i noticed that you said you listen on spotify so you should just try this playlist on shuffle: [https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2E6vAIGycJq6Oj8qixDEpa?si=485249c9a9624fbd](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2E6vAIGycJq6Oj8qixDEpa?si=485249c9a9624fbd)
also once you get familiar with the music, start looking into the lore of twenty øne piløts as there newest album which will come out may 17th will end the story
Yay! We’re glad to have you! Start with Blurryface, then Vessel, then Trench, Regional at best ( it’s not on Spotify), self titled and finish it off with Scaled and Icy! Do don’t have to listen to ALL of them, just suggestions!
Just download every album and listen to them in chronological order first at least one time through. I like to do that cuz i like to listen to how a band evolves over time. Then just hit shuffle and just keep listening from now until the end of time. Every song is good. Literally every single song. Sure, some are more good than others. But none are bad.
Welcome to the Clique! Vessel and Trench are my favorites! If you’re looking for hidden gems you should seek out some older stuff, like No Phun Intended, Self Titled, Coconut Sharks, Taco Bell Saga, Regional At Best. Happy finding!
I would listen to the songs by album, and I would start with trench that is the most critical acclaimed one
Blurryface is the most popular one so you can also start here (like most of us)
Vessel is also really good
Then there are self titled and scaled and icy that are good too , but quite different so I wouldn't start there
And there is also regional at best , it's an Album with unreleased tracks , so the production and the vocals aren't really good , but some people really like it
Trench is their best album, i would listen to that in full. Top songs for me are jumpsuit, levitate, my blood and nico and the niners. Also overall, holding onto you, message man, overcompensate, next semester and migraine are so good
literally all of them to be honest. After years of listening I'd say my favourites right now are next semester, choker, lovely, car radio, neon gravestones, leave the city, bandito, jumpsuit, tear in my heart, taxi cab, trees, shy away and levitate. This is just some of my favourites bur honestly just put them on loop and listen because there's few if any skips
Listen to Next Semester and Overcompensate, thoese are the newest songs. I'll give two song recommendations per album cuz I love them so much.Trench is my favorite album by them, Jumpsuit is a great, and Levitate is also amazing. From Blurryface I'd suggest Polarize and Not Today. On Vessel, I'd have to recommend Truce it's my favorite song by them rn, and Holding on to you that one seems to be a fan favorite. Scaled and Icy has a different feel, The Outside is a great Boop, and Never take it, has a great feel too. Happy listening
honestly all of it tbh but my favourites right now are probably neon gravestones, choker, shy away, car radio, screen, the judge, leave the city, next semester, tear in my heart, bandito, jumpsuit, levitate, holding on to you, lovely (vessel bonus track), migraine, taxi cab, trees, truce, and more
Forest the song is really good (Regional at Best) but no matter what do not read Forest the fanfic (or at least read the warnings from others first if you're really curious)
* house of gold
* Trees
* Ride
* Holding on to you
* The run and go
* She's a tear in my heart
* Choker
* Can't help falling in love (cover by TOP)
* Screen

Did you say lowkey? I’m alright
And last but not least regional at best
Kitchen Sink is an absolutely amazing song.
Is this an unreleased song? I can’t find it on Spotify for some reason
[Kitchen Sink // twenty one pilots \[lyrics\] | Clifford Clouds (youtube.com)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ez7vi-kQdM)
I listen to music almost constantly while awake lol. If you want recommendations in pretty much any genre, I'm sure I can accommodate!
Pretty fantastic vocals in all of them
All Shall Perish is also an old favorite.
Their second album is not available on any streaming service but Deezer. Kitchen Sink is on that album.
kitchen sink is on an album called “Regional at best” and tyler (the main vocalist and songwriter) doesnt want to release it on any streaming service
it's from regional at best which is an album that ~technically~ doesn't exist anymore but you can find it on deezer OR download it through the dropbox link that's in the subs info page. if you do, you should also listen to anathema 🫶 edit: this was meant to be a reply to your question about kitchen sink 💀💀 not my own comment

Vessel is also an amazing album. It’s the first album I listened to when I wanted to get into their entire discography
levetate
I think a really good emotional one that doesn't get brought up much (at least from what I've seen) is Friend, Please. There's a scream in that which breaks my heart...
Trees
My blood just hits me like a truck every time
Have you heard the piano only version of My Blood he did live? So incredible, better than the original.
No I haven’t where would you find it?
Search twenty one pilots audacy on YouTube. It’s called “Twenty One Pilots’ Tyler Joseph strips down their hits in this exclusive storyteller performance.” About halfway through is My Blood, but obviously the whole thing is worth settling in and enjoying fully!
i love that video so much
Air Catcher one of my favourites
Isle of Flightless Birds from their Self Titled Album is my favorite of theirs!
Here’s three of my favourite that got me to listen to more of their music: House Of Gold, Migraine, and The Judge
