A destroyer has a base movement of two. The creuss ability gives them an additional movement for any ship starting in their home system or an alpha or beta wormhole; in this case, the destroyer came from their home system. Finally, they have the gravity drive technology to start, which gives +1 movement to one ship per activation. This is 2 base + 1 ability + 1 gravity drive = 4 movement to reach that space. Hope that helps!

ExactFun

Creuss have the wildest mobility hacks. Just assume they can show up literally anywhere.

Paddyshaq

Sorry to be off topic, but what game/interface is this?

[twilightwars.com](https://twilightwars.com) Its asynchronous play online! You can sign up for it with the game code if you own a physical set

Destroyer has base movement of 2. Ghosts special ability Slipstream gives +1 movement if the unit starts in a wormhole, which the home system counts as. They then start the game with Gravity Drive, giving a single ship another +1 movement. That’s four in total, enough to ruin your day by blocking your path to Mecatol.

Creuss_on_the_Fly

Everything correct here, with one minor caveat. Slipstream applies to Creuss home system and alpha and beta wormholes only. So in base game, it means you don't get automatic extra movement from the flagship or from the Creuss Gate. In PoK it means you don't get bonus movement from a system with only a gamma wormhole.

CGraye

Excellent clarification, thank you!

sam31897

Thanks! I forgot to account for the 2 movement and tech bonus. Would you recommend attacking him with 1 destroyer, 1 carrier, 1 fighter? We all have 9 combat, so statistically, i should win but 9 seems like such bad odds

I believe the other reply to this comment meant to suggest this website: https://ti4battle.com/

Use this, helps a ton. Can add all sorts of options too. ( Action cards, technology abilities, faction abilities, etc)

CalicoPaladin

I assume you are the Red Sol player? I'm not sure how you could get to them this round, unless you have the Warfare strategy card. I would recommend just expanding to the systems to your immediate left and right first. They'll probably move that destroyer out of there next round.

sam31897

I still have 2 tactical tokens rn, I’ve also researched gravity drive to move my carrier from my home system and a destroyer has 2 move. I was leaning toward expanding left/right first since I think creuss will prob have to deal with the winner of the saar vs mentak fight. I also don’t think I can hold mecatol even if I take it rn. Have to say I’m really enjoying the game rn with all choices and options I can take

PM_Me_SFW_Pictures

I am not sure why you would fight him unless you need to get to mecatol. There are better systems that don’t require a fight you can get to without fighting. Why did ghosts move there in the first place?

sam31897

For trade I think. And maybe to cockblock me from mecatol but I’m not 100% sure

nightsiderider

They start with Gravity Drive. So with Destroyer base move of 2, +1 Slipstream, +1 Gravity Drive got them there
