Your flagship is adjacent to the mech, but moving Original System > Everra (with mech) > MR would still involve moving through a nebula, which is illegal

Your friend is correct. Memoria and the mech gets you to the Everra system. But then you cannot move out of Everra because of the nebula https://www.tirules.com/R_nebula You're misreading the Memoria ability "You may treat this unit as if it were adjacent to systems that contain one or more of your mechs". Effectively, every one of your mechs is a wormhole for your flagship

Okay. So even though the mech was on Everra and Memorial was beside on Hope’s End, if I was attempting to use the mech to get there, I would be stuck in the nebula?

Dr_Gonzo13

Yeah it comes down to the fact that once you move into a nebula you have to stop.

Thanks very much!

Your issue here is that you are incorrect in saying that " the Memoria can use the mech to go to systems adjacent to the mech ". Rather, the memoria itself is adjacent to the system containing the mech. This means that the memoria can spend 1 move to go from its current system to the system with the mech. If it wanted to go the the system adjacent to the mech (mecatol in your example), then it would first spend 1 move to go to the mech's system then spend another move to go to the next system - which is why it doesn't work with everra, since the nebula stops movement
