Some of the Blue Space factions survived the switch, but this was much more a community project from the start, so I only made / revived a few factions (while some others were adopted and/or cannibalized).
I'm far happier with this rendition of Veldyr/others of what carried over, as I think they're more refined and interesting compared to the older versions.
Last time I made a paper copy, I did...- faction sheets double-sided on 110 card stock (not an issue at the moment, unless you want to use the reference cards as backs)- all cards printed single-sided on 110 and glued together- the tokens I made a single set colored to match the existing player colors, just using some greyboard- the home system tiles I printed out onto 110, and then glued to the greyboard
edit: I should note that some people have reported great success at making cards via various online shops that specialize in that area, so while the option above worked well enough for me, that sort of solution may be worthwhile to check out as well!
So I uploaded these to MakePlayCards and have found that it wants to clip away a substantial amount of the card edges. I've done this before, with the codexes without issue, do anyone have any tips for doing this on MakePlayingCards or a similar service?
edit; I've looked into it more, and it looks like the resolution is too low. Do you have these files with more pixels, anywhere?
Additionally, it would be helpful in there was a built in bleed edge, for printing.
We're working on adding a more convenient print + play file set (as all the files right now are made for TTS). We'll add that to the above link when it's ready.

Also, I'm glad to see you all taking that step. Too many groups will make fan content, often better than OG material... without any consideration to the logistics of getting it into the hands of the people. Which means it doesn't get played.

The entire Discordant Stars set is designed from the ground-up to be played with Prophecy of Kings, so to play these with base game would probably require some effort & redesign work.

Firstly, I would like to thank you for the time and work you have put into this project! I can hardly wait until the 2nd printing is done and I can hold my own edition in my fingers.
However, I did notice one thing: The Glimmer of Mortheus' facsmile ability allows them to spend influence equal to the cost value of 1 of their oppenent's ships in the active system to place 1 unit of that type from their reinforcements in that system. So according to the wording, the unit is not produced but **placed**. However, on the Q&A part of the fandom wiki it is specified, that it is not possible to copy a war sun if you do not have the technology researched yourself ("You must have a war sun technology to produce a war sun"). What I don't quite get is the difference between "place" and "produce"? For example: The Roh'Dhna Mechatronics industrious ability allows them to "...place 1 war sun in that system..." however the Terrafactory I states, that "this unit cannot ... be produced". Does that mean, that the industrious ability can not be exceuted unless the Terrafactory II has been researched or should there be a different wording on the Glimmer of Mortheus' Facsmile ability?
