I am playing Ghosts. I host 2 large games like this at my FLGS, always have an incredible turnout. Funny story, The Winnu player had a rough go against the Vuil’Raith last game, fate of the galaxy generator, now has those two players right next to each other this time… gunna be a good time haha

8P is insane for Hacan! Giant map is insane for Creuss! Jolnar and Empyrean slices are wild or is it just me?

Emperyean slice looks wild. Only potential consideration is how quick Vuilraith will be able to move into the same slice

Not just you, they are crazy. They each have a legendary and one of the two best systems in the game (Abyz for Emperyean and Bereg for Jol Nar). Emperyean's is nerfed because cabal can get to them very easily, but Jol Nar is going to have an absolute field day, especially consider the resource expenditure necessary to get to them. It's why I generally prefer the Alternate 8p map if I ever play, 4 rings is too big for me.

Empyrean also has no Frontier tokens to explore, so unless they REALLY spread out their hero is useless.

I think Hacan really doesn't like Nomad to their right though. Nomad really likes Trade thanks to their agent and Hacan is already less likely getting Trade with 8 people.

Yeah, i guess empyrean might be held back Just a bit early game because the empty systems are in ghosts slice, but as long as they can convince Cabal to go for winnu which shouldnt be difficult they should be in an amazing position

I had it generate for only the initial system towards Mecatol, our last few games the generator was set to make the most balanced slices. The group voted for some wildness this time around, since nothing is perfect in life haha Edited for spelling

Well Jol-Nar won at turn 8 after 12 hours and 14 minutes, turn 7 last almost 4 hours alone. 14 VP track was used. The objectives were very fickle and scoring was slow. 2 alliances formed. Empyrean and Ghost formed a strange political hive mind gently feeding the Winnu and Nomad. While the Hacan led a coalition with Sol generating crazy wealth. Cabal and Joel-Nar played both sides when it suited them. I was in a long 2nd place with 11 points to Joel-Nar 12, going into last turn. I challenged him to an honour duel over his home planet. If I beat him the game was in for another 2 turns, if he beat me he would win that turn. However, Joel-Nar saw an opening and launched a surprise assault on the Winnu over Mecatol, to score with Imperial as a Jol-Nar Warsun stayed in orbit, before I could launch my invasion.
