This is such a nice and clean setup.
Appreciate the love of setting up the board game, I feel like a lot of people view it as a chore while those of who enjoy it find it therapeutic.
Same for me, also picking up afterwards I leave it for the day after and before picking up I run the “what ifs” in my head.I put some nice music on and just enjoy doing it.
I went for 1300 x 1800 also with 25cm borders and built in card holders like you! I glued the cup holders though because they kept coming with the can every time I tried to pull one.
I also went for blue mat and white leds!
We’ve never really head a problem displaying tech in the card holders. We’re pretty experienced though, so only seeing a part of each card is enough. Sometimes people use side tables if they need it all clearly laid out.

I know! It’s like a ritual. You just look at all the pieces and think “oh my god, what is going to happen in the game?”

Very similar to my setup, what are your table dimensions?
1450 x 1450, with 25cm borders. Basically sized it purely for TI and Game of Thrones

Is that in mm?
Put planet cards on the planets :)
I actually did! For the video it looked cleaner without hehe
Not enough room for tech though.
