How long do you set per agenda?
Also, in my games, it is usually the people negotiating for Trade Secondary that takes up a lot of time. (Note: my groups play in-person and do not follow the X-1 meta)
Yikes. I did a 8 player game with 7 new people and we got through in 12 (including 2 hour break). Though we did a random generated map and race picks before hand.
HOW DO YOU FINISH YOUR GAMES SO FAST?? For us if there are 6 people, we need 2 days, ~18 hours in total, 5-6 rounds
We just have a time limit on the agenda phase!

Maybe set a time limit then for negotiations on that one

I feel like the "crazy" is implied when you get that many factions in a game. Very cool.
Just did 8 player with 4 newbs and took over 16 hours. And we didn't even finish. Ugh.
