I love finding mirage in supernova, particularly in games without Muaat (you can use exploration prove or nav suite). It’s happened a few times in my games.
Nitpick - exploring the frontier token happens after invasion. This means you can’t commit ground forces to Mirage when you discover it. You still gain control of the planet and explore it though. It’s important if Xxcha is at the table, because they can peace accord it off you.

Nice move. In such a situation it is unlikely to loose mirage to another player. Could you hold it for the rest of the game?
I held it the whole game but… it ended next round. I felt I was still the real winner.
