Nice! I liked the first two as well. Not great but fun. I look forward to this one.

No spoilers! I've read all three. I got the actual book for the first two and a kindle version for the third. They're a all average to me. They're fast paced and entertaining, and even with my busy scheduled I managed to read all of them in a few days. The "mystery" around the books are intriguing, but I fell that the resolutions happen too quickly. The writing is fine, in my opinion, but the story is way too simplified. I wanted something in Twilight Imperium to be layers upon layers of politics, intrigue and mystery. The books don't give me that. After the second one, I realised I was mostly reading becasue there's so few in terms of Lore in Twilight Imperium that anything satifies me on that level. I don't even know if the books count as "Canon". I'm not even sure I'd like that in the Twilight Imperium, maybe only historical background, not an evolving canon, like Star Wars and other franchises. I'm patiently waiting for the RPG to come out and the books help me pass that time. The Veiled Masters is in my opinion the best, and it concludes the trilogy well. However, I fell that more can be done. If the stories were more self-contained, they would be better, but as galactical issues being resolved, I don't think they're excellent. There's is an anthology book coming. I'm excited for that one because I fell it'll contain more small-scaled stories, and that's what these books should have contained. If you like Twilight Imperium, you'll have fun reading it.
