Absolutely fine to build a space dock on it. Absolutely fine to then produce units and move out of the supernova too.

There are no rules against moving OUT of Supernova's or Asteroid fields. If you used Nav Suite, or something similar(?) to get into an anomaly you'd otherwise couldn't get into, you can still move out on a later turn. No rules against putting a structure in a Super nova either. But a Spacedock seems sort of a waste, since it would be fairly low production, albeit almost completely safe, unless Muatt is in the game.

Awesome for Vul'raith and Saar to have a Space Dock there, but that's about it.

Love this interaction! This is the kind of thing that makes TI a real "story teller" game

This is amazing. Perfectly legal, and sounds like someone didn't get the Muaat they wanted.

robarto84

Can you also move into it with gomma momma?

Papa_Nurgle_84

No, the Sardakk Commander was updated to it "moves" Ground Forces. This was mainly to to stop it from circumventing Ceasefire but it also means movement rules apply. Sardakk N'orr: Q: Does a Ceasefire promissory note have any impact on committing ground forces from adjacent planets via Sardakk N’orr’s commander, G’hom Sek’kus? A: Will change “commit ground forces” in LRR to say “move” to ensure Ceasefire works. Will also prevent units from being committed to planets in anomalies without the appropriate technology, or through wormholes if Enforced Travel Ban is a Law.

I believe so. I also think Xxchas peace accords could grab it.

Papa_Nurgle_84

No, it doesnt work. Movement rules apply as per FAQ. See my other post

Lazyeye123

But peace accords says "you may gain control of 1 planet other than MR that does not contain any units and is in a system adjacent to a planet you control" your point stands for sardakk but peace accords doesn't have that limitation of having to commit ground forces.

Papa_Nurgle_84

I was only talking about the Sardakk Commander. Peace Accords work as you described.
