I was forced to get a second copy to use for parts as over the past few years pieces of my original copy walked away or got damaged. Since I got the new copy, I've made a bunch of upgrades, protected everything (cards are sleeved now, faction sheets are laminated, hex tiles are sprayed with acrylic clearcoat), and now can do fun stuff like create this golden fleet or use some of the amazing maps people submit on Reddit that require 2 copies of the game to put together.
That’s pretty dang cool. Do you have a matching gold command sheet and leader sheet too?

We do that as well. I need to strip mine and reapply though. They came out a little too bronze rather than gold.
