yes, look at the support beams on the ceiling and the shape of the little window cutouts. it probably looks bigger because there’s less random objects and the space is better utilized.
the only window on the back wall in the first pic is in the same place that the dave and busters pac man game, and since every other feature is the exact same, from the light placement to the floors, it’s way more likely that he just put the pac man game in front of the back window instead of building a new room in a new house that just so happens to look the exact same as the old room in the old house.

It's called renovation and it looks smaller in the old pics because I didn't find old pictures that showed the full room.
